T5. Yes as Newforest tells us that is a Burket, which I believe owes a lot to Rutan design, but is actualy a kit form aircraft available in a few different versions ??
The photo above has a goldish apperance, the aircraft is in fact silver overall, this time I caught it landing into a setting sun !
cloud 9. You are correct Blue Line went out of business some time ago ! since then two of their former F100’s have been stored here at NWI, F-GNLG and F-GNLH, the photo above is from yesterday, when, for some reason, it was towed out of storage and parked in front of KLM maintenance hangars ???? I took the opportunity to get a photo with the sun in a good position ??? So maybe a new owner in the offing … who knows ????
Thank you all for your continued interest and kind words.
Keith.
Thank you all very much for those kind words, I knew this would be accepted as a well looked after aircraft, and would like to pass on my thanks to those people who look after it, a local ATC group I believe ? would anybody know which one ??
As for the tyres … well the mains are showing signs of ‘deflation’ setting in …. but it is a minor point …. soon corrected we hope !
Keith.

And to make it a pair …. another from just before the accident 🙁

Scott. The only ‘gate guard’ I remember is the Scout ? photo at the top of this post ? Maybe I missed something ??? what is the aircraft you mention ??
Lightningspirit. Thanks for asking 🙂 a few more of the Lightning nose for you !!

Peter. Thank you so much for your photos ! The DC-4 … Air Congo … 1969 photo is supurb …. looks like yesterday …. Thank you once again.
Keith.
Rab ! Just love those head on’s … turning and burning … and how small the crew look in the front of a 777 airframe …. with those big mother f**ker engines …. and just keep em coming …. please 😉
Keith 🙂
It seems, from a visit to G-INFO, last evening and again this evening that G-CMJK does not exist !!!! So maybe it is not actually registered as such just yet, which means it was flying as F-WWOY with some random lettering on the tail boom ????? Would that make sense ????
Thank you all for looking and your comments as always 🙂
Keith.
Thanks Newforest, Glad to hear from you …… seems a dangerous place ….. Arizona ?? please don’t go shopping at Safeway 😉
Keith.
Mark12. Further to your, and your friends, post ! …. below is a quote from Micheal Packham’s supurb book ” Panshanger Aerodrome” page 64 …..
“By 1954 the dismantled de Havilland Mosquito prototype W4050 was stored at Panshanger, probably in the 69 ‘B’ Flight blister hangar. There it remained until being moved to storage in the Hatfield area (Fiddlebridge) following the acquisition of the aerodrome operations by Nat Somers. The Mosquito led a charmed life, escaping the accountants and the axe men until stored and displayed from 1959 in its own hangar at Salisbury Hall, London Colney where it had been built. This has preserved the aircraft for all time, eventually allowing its display at the Mosquito Aircraft Museum.”
Keith.
Well folks ….. It ain’t here yet ! Or at least it wasn’t when I left EGSH at 1700hrs, but there could be two spray shop moves tomorrow ??? The Monarch 757 and Brussles A319 have both been in for a week so should be coming out any time now ????
