Thanks for your input, we have noticed that the majority of biz jet size aircraft seem to take a lot longer than much larger airliners ? one school of thought is that there maybe interior works done at the same time ?? As for the same colour scheme ? well this is also not unusual, this is the second consecutive UAE Gulfstream to have a ‘same as’ respray in a few weeks, the last to leave, which I missed at both ends 😡 was a Wizz A320 which also went home with the same scheme ???
Tonight another Bae146 / RJ85 / 100 from Brussels slipped into spray 2 !

VZ608 Gloster Meteor FR9 (mod) ….. National Benchmark ….. OK .. I can see an air inlet ? behind the canopy ? Don’t think I have seen this on any other Meteors ?? What is it ?? What is different about this aircraft ?? :confused:

A couple of my favourite exhibits at Newark …. this one because of Hughie Green at Stansted often in the 60’s in one of these, and just a nice looking, very old, twin ?

Now this one is a problem to me ?? I have no idea why I am drawn to aircraft of this era, possibly the year I was born ?? but anything from British civil aviations wonderful, adventurous, years immediatly post war appeals to me ?? I would like the opportunity, one day, to look inside this aircraft with a camera in hand !

A little question ? Photo of Avro Anson VL348 ? What is the ‘finned thing’ below and behind the engine cowling, ahead of the main wheel ? Is that an oil cooler ???
