Thanks Dean. Those are possibly the best of the photos I have ?? but there are more ??? Looking at photo 2 your MLG position with reference to the PAPSI ? (vasi) in my day ? looks pretty spot on ? most of my comments are ‘tounge in cheek’ having watched a lot of landings by your team ! you all seem to handle the beast very well ??

This is so sad ! I heard about this earlier today at Norwich museum ! As you may know Ray and I struck up an online friendship, the ‘internet ‘ was a little too complicated for him so he mailed his photos to me and I posted them in the thread above …. he was always so pleased and constantly thanking me for my help ! I feel so humble now ….
He has left us a remarkable piece of his vivid imagination and skills …

Newforest. Yep ! just looked at the specs and the 747-856, with the stretched upper deck and the optional cargo pannier fitted between each pair of main undercarriage legs it’s just 2mtrs longer than the runway at NWI .. so it’s back to Frankfurt for that one … :diablo: 😀
