Oh “Eh” I like the first Bristow, I love how the colour scheme blends over to the museum Air UK tailplane, a red, white, blue thing 😉
And the same for the last photo of the same aircraft hover taxying up the runway ! nice little hand out of the DV window ! It’s all down to details ????

Whilst waiting earlier in the day I was looking at all of the overflights just off the coast, most were a little boring …. then this slightly more interesting aircraft popped over ??

Another movement in this very slow process ! The aircraft has its missing propellor fitted and has been conducting engine runs early this evening ! It may be gone tomorrow ???? but who knows ??? It still has it’s Irish registration with which it arrived, so where may it go ??? Keith.

Interflug62M. I don’t think it was overload, RPM ? well only the crew will know that ??? I do know they had proplems starting the engines ! and were rushing to keep their slot !!!
Most of the losing of height appears to have started at the intersection with a disused runway ???? no protection from the cross wind offered by trees etc ?????

sorry I have no more photos following those above my attention was drawn to the fire crews doing a scramble !!! which makes me think others also took this situation as a serious problem !!
The next few seconds, as I am sure you know, saw the aircraft scrabble to a better height and drift away into the sunset to live happily ever after ????

Well “Eh”, very nice, and well thought out collection there, I realy like the sixth photo of an average day on the GA apron at NWI, but with a calm look to it ! 🙂

sycamore, yes he made it ! and the few people watching with myself also discussed the change of underwear situation !! The wind was almost at 90degrees to the runway ! I think my position (about 500mtrs to the right of the threshold ) at 09 may distort the photos of the wind sock position, which is much closer than the 27 end of the runway where the action happened !:confused:

Thank you Richard, Whilst at Lowestoft, on Friday, and cowering from the wind and rain (this was the occasion when I wasn’t in the bar !) I happened to look to my left an low and behold someone was sheltering below this !!!
Just had to get a photo !!!

Very nice Richard, and so different from the usual :D, the CoNAM is a good day out for many reasons, popped in there this morning !
I had a AirUK moment at Lowestoft Airshow on Friday, would you mind if I posted a small photo into your thread ?

The BBMF Dakota has had a few problems since arriving on Thursday’ it finaly got airbourne at lunchtime today (Sunday).
