    Yep its a shame as I always like the Jetstream. However, the good news is that they seem to be making a come back. With the price of fuel at the moment, quite a few airlines are finding that turboprop aircraft make better financial sense than the smaller jet commuter types. Just look at the likes of flybe phasing out all of BA’s old 145’s in favour of the Q400.

    Looks like its just Finnair, TAM and KLM still using these on regular pax flights with World Airways using them under contract to Air Mobility Command in the USA. The remainder it would seem are now used as freight only aircraft.

    What ones are out of service/written off/crashed?

    From what I can find, there has only been five actual hull-loss accidents.

    Fedex at Newark in 1997
    Swissair at Nova Scotia in 1998
    Korean Air after departure from Shanghai in 1999
    China Airlines at Hong Kong in 1999
    Fedex at Subic Bay in 1999
