I think Su-27SM3 use AL-31FM1 engines.
However.. the reason why they still keep the N001 radar family for SM series. kinda escapes me. They could look into Phazotron Zhuk-27 family but i guess NIIP Tikhomirov won’t be pleased on it.
As far as I know N001VEP radar is actually more capable than Zhuk-27 and it is cheaper as they only need to replace some components and not whole radar. Also N001VEP is serial produced radar used in export Su-30MK2 and domestic Su-30M2 and Su-27 SM/SM3, while Zhuk-27 was not in serial production.

Some pieces claimed to be from Israeli F-35 damaged over Lebanon by S-200.

There is no direct hit in air defense, but missile explode near the plane. SA-5 missiles are old, so we do not know if warhead works properly and at what distance it detonated. If too far from plane, than it only damage it.

Considering that in few days two Saudi coalition planes crash in Yemen, both doing CAS mission, there is a good posibility, that both were shot down by SAMs, most probably MANPADs.
Thanks to Ukraine, North Korea have working ICBM with thermonuclear warhead. If mad Trump attack North Korea, than Kim will do his best to sink California to the Pacific ocean. Thermonuclear ICBMs are the best guaranties, that US will not attack North Korea and to secure peace there.
The head of Gefest have some correct points regarding PGMs. RuAF mostly use older laser and TV guided bombs and missiles and they have problems with bad weather. If Kaira TV camera could not see through the clouds, it could not guide laser guided bombs to the target. The same is true for TV guided bombs, if they don’t see target through the clouds, they could not lock on it.
SVP-24 is more a fire control complex than just subsystem, which calculate release points for unguided bombs. Which components from SVP-24 Will be build inside the plane depend on the plane. Su-24 already have radar to detect ground targets and Kaira complex as well as capabilities to use guided weapons, so it need only components for precision attacks with unguided bombs, data link for network communications and SATNAV. Su-33 on the other hand need more components in fire control complex to become more multirole fighter, to use guided weapons, radar upgrades, RWR integration for using anti-radar missiles, etc.
Great weapons load of Su-35 with its AAMs, ECM pods, targeting pod, Anti-ship missiles and TV guided bombs. I hope we will also see Su-30SM equipped with new ECM pods, targeting pod and R-77-1 missiles.
Su-33 is also equipped with L-150 Pastel RWR/ELINT complex, so they collect intelligence data on Rafale radar as well.
No, there were two Su-30KN prototypes, b/n 302, which is in Irkutsk and b/n 597, which is in use with Gromov Institute. They also upgrade four Su-30 to Su-30KN, which have b/n 66, 67, 68 and 69 and they are in Lipetsk.
Irkut also deliver Su-30KN upgrade package to Baranovichi aviation plant in Belarus, which upgrade Belarus and Kazakhstan Su-27 jets with this Su-30KN package as they upgrade Angolan Su-30 to Su-30KN now.
I doubt it is about Su-33 A2A modes, what Rafales were interested in. They scan those A2A modes from Su-27 and Su-33 N001 radars many times in last decades, like over Baltic, etc. Most probably Su-33 radar got upgrade in its radar similar to Su-30KN program (similar capabilities like N001VEP) and they were interested in their A2G modes. Su-27SM and Su-30M2 have N001VEP radars, so maybe their A2G modes are not exactly the same. Su-30KN upgrade is in use in Belarus, Kazakhstan and soon in Angola, when their Su-30KN will be delivered from Belarus. RuAF also have a few flying Su-30KN in Lipetsk.
When they talked about Su-33 anti-ship capabilities, it could be only about radar anti-ship modes and not about SVP-24, which was created for totally different task.
Modernized to Su-30SM is nonsense as it need Bars-R radar and engines with TVC to be in this level. Most probably it is about Su-30KN modernization package from the same Irkut as Su-30SM, which Belarus use to modernize Su-27 and Su-30 fighters. Su-30KN package upgrade existing radar to multirole radar with similar capabilities as N001VEP which Su-27SM have. I think Gefest was just a hoax and under this name they got modernization components from Irkut or from Belarus considering, that Belarus modernization mof Angolan Su-30K to Su-30KN is late. After all, Gefest didn’t modernize any Flanker before and suddenly they modernize a group of Su-33 in few months and they become operational in real combat without any testing. They for sure got operational modernization package, which are Su-27SM and Su-30KN. Su-27SM package could be done only in KNAAZ so in Zhukovsky they could install Su-30KN package.
Nice to see, that ECM pods are now standard equippment for Su-35 like with Su-34. I hope Su-30SM will get them soon too.
US is aggressor in Syria as they shot down Syrian Su-22, which was flying in Syrian air space and attack ISIL convoys, which are driving from Raqqa to Deir Ezzor. This is the clear evidence, that US is supporting ISIL and defend them against SAA.
Russian army and VKS is the only legal foreign force in Syria under international law as Syrian sovereign government ask Russia for military help and inform UN about it. RuAF and SyAF have all legal rights to shot down any other plane in Syrian air space, specially of US aggressors, who support terrorists in Syria.
