So, two 1500lt (or 1000lt) drop tanks, four paveways, six AAM, (Four AMRAAM’s or METEOR’s and two ASRAAM’s or IRST-T’s) Designator pod on the the centre line hard point, and the 27mm cannon. Thats very impressive if you ask me.

That detailed datum didn’t give any informations concerning drop tanks. The impressive photo showed as we seen was a some kind of max limit load not a standard combat load.
It is conceived that 2 of three paveway bombs was loaded beside main wheels not that couple of additional pylon inboard.

The F-16 typical combat radius is only 925 km not be able to 1000+ km.
If my memory is right, the information concerning F-2’s combat radius is >833km, which could means almost reach 900km or 850km.
    DD:
When we say typical combat radius, we means the fighter carries criterial weapon load performing normal flight profile.
Varient fighters has own criterial weapon load, for Mitsubishi F-2 is with 2×2270 liters external fuel tanks and 4×ASMs and 4×a2a missles for self-defense to performing H-L-H profile.
If there is no particuliar point, each combat radius edited in book or internet is a normal or H-L-H profile.
Concerning EF, detailed datum poit out its normal combat radius 1389 km is under such condition:
7 AAMs, one designator pod, 3 paveway bombs, in which we don’t know what’s sort of external fuel tanks it carried, but obviously the designator pod was loaded at one of AAM hardpoint beside inlet and one of three paveway bomb must be loaded centreline under fuselage.

Although I have no batter impression for the EF, but what we can confirm the typical combat radius for the EF is really larger than Mitsubishi F-2.

The fuel in inboard external fuel tank carried each is around 1300kg or a little bit more, according to my Swidish friend told me.

The T/W rate for NG would be greater than original version, but the 7100kg for EW is still suspectable……

Seems so, however there is something I find strange in the weights they give on that pdf:

    Empty weight 10220 kg
Max weight without external stores 14900 kg
    Max internal fuel 4680 kg

It seems the difference between max weight without external stores and empty weight is just the fuel. Where are the other things counted (lubricant, pilot, gun ammunition etc etc)? Are those already counted in the empty weight?

    Nic

The Empty Weight here means Operational EW, so what you mentioned has already included.

The first backflip on airshow was not done by 711 but Su-35.
Other hand, could you name this maneuver showed within 01: 27 – 01:30?

    1. The post-stall maneuverability gives onmidirectional attack capability, if you don’t have an onmidirectioanl radar and weapon.

    2. Possibly not, if the OA missile guided by OA radar could be fitted on next gen. a/c

    3. Su-35 Super Flanker didn’t fitted TVC untill 711 but it had done some Post-Stall maneuver

    4. Air show, IMO, means you show sth you can do, but not means you show all things you are able to do

The MiG-29K with enlarged flap and horizontal tailplan must has marvellous maneuverability. Think about it can take off from Carrier without foreplan unlike the Su-33.

In Discovery Channel, I watched that commentator quoted distinguished guest who oroginally was a Harrier pilot: “it was only 10 seconds”, in which the turn certainly was a nomal turn. I mean a turn, neither roll nor spin nor flip, just an around turn.

According to some British pilot calculated, the Su-27 can made a 360 degrees turn within 10 seconds.

What the heck is the PAK-FA going to do? Poor thing will be without a job 🙁

The PAKFA designed to neutralize the F-22.
F-22 Raptor was not an unattainable new tech fighter but integrated many special techs that had been used before to it own.

Perhaps, what Duke implied was that Top Speed StrikeEagle can go is faster than Fullback, but Fullback could load some signifcent large weapon like X-41?
Just my guess through his picture I have never seen.

The Eurofighter originallly was designed to neutralizing Soviet superior jet like Su-27 counter-air fighter. The foreplan was put on for hi-maneuver. But from Video I searched in Youtube, the Eurofighter just did mediocre demo. in each airshow compare with the SHE/F which developed from 70’s F-18C/D did some impressive actions. Why Typhoon only did sth like a donkey run around a mill?
