The 270d/s of roll rate for Su-27 you quoted was exactly at start, means initial roll rate. It is completely impossible an airplane roll 720de/s at start moment, not even the aircraft used for space traveling due to nowadays technology.
The roll rate of Tigershark performed shouldn’t be replaced by T-38 Talon. The T-38 Talon is a very light trainer jet merely weights 3209kg, whereas the Tigershark weight almost 6 tons! How can same H.T. trims duble weight with same rate?

Similar climb rate on both of two, but Mirage 2000 win at turn rate and roll rate.
Also, Mirage2000 some significant advantages such as payload, combat radius, potantiel of avionics etc….

Its better this way 🙂 Even if we understand bits of what you are trying to convey, it is still very informative.

He didn’t release more information than one day ago:o

    Emile:
What if that inlet becomes an internal-compression inlet due to its possibly movable lip?
Could that be advanced than CARET that fundamentally is an external-compression inlet?

You don’t need the data on the truck length. You just need to know what its length is relative to the J-10 and use the J-10’s length. But I agree, it’s not the best method. Lots of assumptions have to be made, but much fewer than if we used a man or another plane without a known shared object to scale it by. If you must know though that calculation yields 20.63 meters, and it was the first one I did. The image was one of the first for the J-20. I only revised it downward when we got the airplane tow truck image because that one requires fewer assumptions and has smaller error.

The length of truck must been known because the pixel of truck in photo are in discrepancy.

I’m still not clear on what you mean in regards to canopy scattering and refraction, but I’m curious? I don’t think of myself as being a very closed minded individual.

I saw what did he mean. I like beer :dev2:

This pic is so good that it looks photoshopped :p

The Video we saw was neccessarily not an intact edtion.
As we noticed “the car alarms going of when it flies by”, the jet must penitrate very fast into the clouds was considerably low to cause the effect showing on photo.

Beside, we don’t know the foto was taken from that video presented here.

This is impolite. I saw some cartoon disconnected to tech but not be blamed by you and no more knowledge from you in J-20 thread you posted than this mate.

I checked maximum daimeter of D-30 which MiG-31 and Su-47 fitted and AL-31 which is mounted on Su-27/30/35 series. The previous one barely is 0.18 wider than the latter. So what Emile expressed by his/her PS is closer much more than Hotdog whom rhetoric aguement is obviously worthless to identify the thruth.
Meanwhile, the constructure of JAS-39 was examed either, the weapon loading internally in terms of dimension of missile nowadays tech is impossible for Grippen. So Emile got point again.

My question for this thread is is it possible the newest version of MiG-31 carry four external 3000L dropable fuel tanks with crossed pylons which also load missiles above it? Since some data show the Max T-O Weight of it raised to 52 tons.

OK, I provide you the article, before you finish reading it, don’t bother with any more of your questions:

Here is the link for that paper:
    http://www.cqvip.com/qk/83379x/2001008/5563683.html

This journal paper is written in 2001, by Song Wen-cong (lead project director of J-10 and vice project director of J-20) and his team, he decribed the key features (and its benefits demonstrated through wind tunnel tests) of an proposal airframe for the next-generation highly agile stealth fighter, the key features (lifting-body canards, blending strakes, and all-moving tail wings etc) matches exactly well with the fighter we see today.

So, certainly I wont worry about the performance of this J-20, a.k.a the King of air-combat :diablo:
