RE: He’s trolling for cash donations…

Running away and hiding in your own country is your solution?

Spoken like one who does not belong to a despised minority and therefore does not have to walk a gauntlet of disapproval throughout each day of his life. In such a case you don’t any points for being “brave” and continuing to subject yourself to this, the idea of a separate state of your own kind begins to look very appealing after you come to grips with this fact.

    In the spirit of 1940…

Damn it, why are so many so enamored of corrupt socialists? They had their chance and {as usual} screwed up nicely.

Le Pen, the left’s whipping boy…

    I hope for total victory for the FN, enough of Chirac and Jospin and their Vichy politics! {Maybe as a bonus Le Pen will be able to persuade Quebec to separate from Canada and thus solve a lot of problems here in Canada as well.}

    RE: Electional surprise in France

“It seems that France is dealing with something of a protest against leftwing policies which have been strong on promoting liberal ideals, big government, collective rights as opposed to individual rights, pro-immigration, pro-European union at the expense of traditional French values etc., while being soft on crime and government corruption.”

Which is why I voted for Le Pen…

“It would seem the French political system is rather corrupt, reactionary, crime tolerent and just generally incapable of identifying with the concerns of many of the average citizens who then either don’t vote or vote for the right wing parties who make crime an issue and link it to immigration.”

Completely unlike the American political system? šŸ˜‰

    Regarding Muhammad Ali –

I think one would have to be a fool to serve a system that hates and otherwise excludes you, especially when that many of the people whom the system actually benefitted had no intention of going.

    RE: Armour

“Are there any practical, economic or technological reasons why MMW radar cannot replace (or supplement) TI? Apart from tactical considerations (i.e. radar is an active sensor while TI is passive) I cannot see any reasons – besides, how many tanks are fitted with RWR? Apologies, this is not my field so I’m not entirely certain whether these questions are pointless or not – bear with me.”

I think cost is a major factor, as well as maintnance/durability concerns and the fact that latest generation TI sensors can seemingly do pretty much all that can be done given the limits of current tank weaponry and employment. Also, current trends point toward increased digitally linked offboard sensing and away from large scale, long ranged mechanized battles where the capabilities of a MMW aided FCS might come into play.

I like Thai, Japanese, Soul, Mexican, Greek and last but not least French. My favorite single dish would have to be roasted rack of lamb along with everything that goes with that.

    RE: Israel vs Palestine

[ “There even was an article about palestinian babies dying in a hospital, because Israel has cut the medical and power supply for the hospital. With such stories continuing to spread in the world Israel will have a major defeat when it comes to publc opinion.”

Since the self styled Palestinians are so dependent on Israel for these things, it may not be in their best interest to continue to continue terror bombing Israeli civilians? Maybe the PA could ask for medical suppies and generators instead of weapons next time.

[ “Essentially each side is as bad as the other in one way or another either with the Palistinians for using suicide bombers or with the Israelis for using a hugely overpowering military force.

The Israelis as bad as the Palestinians? So the Israelis have, among other things, blown up dozens of airliners, thousands of car bombs, murdered thousands of civilians from dozens of countries, sought to grab land from even their *allies* and even assassinated a U.S. presidential canidate? Did I see thousands of Israeli citizens take to the streets and cheer on September 11th? And since when did Israel become the Evil Empire, remember that the the Arabs outnumber, outspend and outgun Israel by a huge margin.

Peace will only come to the region when the Palestians are once again crushed and dispered.

    RE: Israel vs Palestine

Negotiate? It’s been tried. What concessions do you offer the most nihilistic, chaos inducing group of people on this planet, in exchange for their terror? All I know is that the Palestinians {and their ilk} respect only the use of force, applied freely.
