Jo now on yet another ward she begining to feel like a Hospital gypsy with all this moving.
She still having insulin problems and the infection not fully gone but shes very much better than she was and is probably in my oppinion 80% there now and being a fighter like she is, Its only a matter of time before she be out of there a picking on me again.
I am glad for all your kind words and support here you all been great.
Just for some whiling away the time while Pipex finally sort out my email access I thought it would be fun to have a look at this in perspective. The F-16 first flew in 1974. That is 31 years. In 1974 I was reading “Airfix Magazine” and 31 year old aeroplanes included the Lancaster! Sea Furies were effectively modern!
Historic starts yesterday, it all depends how you judge it!
I am 31 just like the F-16 and personally i really hope its modern as i don’t feel historic myself 😀 , Seriously though i think the F-16 has been a fantastically successful design and does deserve its place in history, But as i still frontline serving Aircraft it does not feel historic.
I never heard of the RAF showing any intrest in F-16s other than having a few exchange pilots with Airforces that fly them.
That would comprise of an ex-FRADU TT.18 Canberra and GA11 and T8 Hunters of course 😀
I would agree with that.
Not sure where i would locate such a show but for arguement sake i say Biggin Hll as it had a inportant role in early jet history with Meteor and Hunter squadrons based there.
I would start the show with a Seafury, and Bearcat duo, Showing the ultimate in piston Engine Aircraft,Then say thats as far as pistons could go and then have a Meteor and Me262 display, Then a Mig15 and F-86 Sabre, Followed by a Canberra flying with two hunters, With solo Canberra display and a Hunter duo routine, I would follow this with a T-33 and T-37, and if possible a Skyhawk too, Then would have Seavixen, vampire and venom display but not as a tailchase for obvious reasons, I would then have a nice Solo with Miss D.
I would then move on to a Ex Soviet section possibly doing a fly past with its USAF rival. i.e Mig-17 and Supersabre, F-4 Phantom and Mig-21(and our beloved Lightning too), Then finally a F-15 Eagle and Su-27 Flanker, All thes Aircraft can do a solo stint.Would have modern show stopper like the F-18f Superhornet.
I would have the Breitling team involved just because the L-39 looks lovely in those colours.
I would have a British jet trainer flypast including Jet provost, Gnat, Hunter T-7 and Hawk.
Have all the RAF current jets but in particular the Harrier and Typhoon, I would include a F-16 as its one of the most sucessful fighters to have been built.
I would hope to end with a Vulcan display or a mass Bilboa.
Theres plenty of other jets that could be added as treats many already been mentioned.
Great result!!She is a fighter!! 😉 😉 Anna 😉
Yep Jo is certainly a fighter a great one at that.

Just wanted to tell you Jo is doing ok but still in High Dependancy as she has high blood sugar levels which could be being caused by the infection which not fully beaten yet, She is well on her way to recovery though and doing much better than she realises.

I am so grateful to you all here, I hope to meet many of you at some point soon maybe.
Its hope Jo will be on a normal ward soon where they can sort out the diabetis and make sure she gets correct insulin for her, There is also the matter of the potential neglect from the Doctor who stopped her insulin, Anti-Biotics, and left hey completely dehydrated also, We are waiting until Jo is fit and well before we find out what we can do though.
Thank you all again.
Ps Moggy hope your friend is improving i have my fingers crossed and will be think of them.
