Glad she not in the condition i feared and i personally hope to see her in the air soon.

When i was growing up dueing the 70s and 80s near Biggin Hill i saw many aircraft either dueing day to day life or at the Airshows.
I remember seeing Lightnings a fair bit,Harrier gr3s, Hunters poping in and out of Biggin and as a kid the Chinook was always about,I mostly remember seeing practices for the Airshows which used to start up to a week before the show was due!,Now your lucky to see a practice before the thursday,The Red Arrows always used to fly over the schools if they could which was great,My love of Warbirds started at just 6years old when i saw Ray Hanna In Mh434 at the 1982 Biggin he was amazing,i also Remember being buzzed by a B25(no idea what one) as we got
to the show and seeing the Bearcat which got my Uncle excited,i guess really that was the Warbird movement in its early days and i have grown proud of what i have seen from that day on such as 2 mosquitos etc.

Ray is from NZ so i think he just want to operate his Aircraft there,Really both the P40 and Corsair Belong there as thats where they both served,and La9 is partly NZ owned and was restored there.

The only good photos of got from past airshows are static shots can’t show them yet as scanner not good,my regret is in the past i never got all my films produced ive got 20 plus films dating back to mid 1990s that have never been produced and now would be no good,but never had money at time to get them done,Boy do i like digital even when i am broke i can use that camera and not waste the photos either.
