Nice photos Anna, I am hoping to get there on Thursday or Friday morning. Is it possible to see USS Winston S Churchill easily too?
Truly lovely looking aircraft and if I had the money I would want her. I don’t so I hope she goes to a good home.

The way I see it 12 heroes for Freedom of Speech were killed by 3 twisted cowards who represent nothing but a deluded ideology, its not religion its a sickness in the mind and a weakness in the soul.
Every innocent person killed by these twisted so called terrorist groups is a hero for peace, freedom and humanity, they will not be forgotten.
It seems to me all 3 Lancaster’s have disappeared, don’t keep us in suspense any longer.
Not sure if the link will work but here goes
Im as happy as a pig in poo to see the 109E at Biggin, well done BHHH.
It annoys me hugely that they feel the need to bombard us at Christmas time, I switch them off its a melancholic enough time for me without that. Also get fed up being jumped on in every high street to give money. I know times are hard , but its these tactics that stop me giving to certain charities.
I totally agree its a fantastic project and the outcome looks great too, Its passions like this man has that keep aviation interesting.
I am glad to see everything Duxford here modern or old, I only ever to get to Duxford for airshows so its nice to see the goings on here.
Whilst I tend to think Christmas is the most over rated time of the year and it leaves me rather melancholic for younger days when all my family were still around, I also think its a good time to say up yours to the year that has passed and all the nasty bits it brought. Jim you are not alone when everyone on this forum cares about you. I reckon 2015 is going to be better for you mate and even though I am some what quieter on the forum of late, I am still about if you want to message me.
I think they are fibreglass, I didn’t touch one but looks like they are.
I remember in 1987 the Blenheim flew with RR299 and Kermit Weeks Mossie at Biggin Hill .Not sure if it was on an airshow day or before but I vividly recall them flying over our house, I was a very please 13 year old that day.
Lovely set of photos, thanks for sharing. I was outside today and have to say it was truly a wonderful thing the Biggin Hill Heritage Hanger did my making this flypast happen.
For me 2014 has been one of the best seasons in years and I have had a pretty amazing year. The biggest highlight was having the chance to see the two Lancasters together and I confess I became I bit of a groupie and caught up with them 5 times in total. Other highlight was Biggin Hill having an airshow again.
These are some of my highlights.

As to lows
1) Sea Fury T20 suffering bad damage
2) Weather preventing several war birds making Flying legends
3) Missing 3 hours of Waddington Airshow after bus problems on top of 7 hour round trip on trains to get there on
4) My friends not being able to see the two Lancasters at Shoreham due to engine problem
I would say as a guess she is under tug just to aid maneuvering, seems normal as most of the ships I have seen go through Tower Bridge have been on tug.
I for one miss Father and Son They both were Legends X RIP Ray & Mark x
Totally agree with you there Anna, I often wonder how different the airshow scene would be if Mark had not been so tragically lost too soon. I owe my love of classic aircraft so much to the Hanna’s and miss them both.
