He could have been driving his Ferret at the time. You don’t argue with armoured cars…

As far as campaign medals go, I believe that its those to aircrew that are most valued since there were relatively fewer of them. Medals for gallantry are probably easier to confirm as being genuine since there will be a paper trail.
Either way don’t go for the ones where the outer peals away to reveal chocolate…;o)

…reading writing and arithmetic…
Hmm, the three ‘R’s – I got into trouble with a headteacher for pedantically asking how we could be confident in his schools ability to teach them when they couldn’t even spell that correctly! (The school had just gotten a poor Ofsted report and the h/t issued the usual missive insisting that they actually did fairly well but were let down in just a few areas. He was let go not long afterwards…)

I have to say that when in London on a weekday I have not noticed any cyclists going through red lights.
Ok, I get that it is done but I haven’t seen it happen in front of me.
SNAFU, I did exactly the same as you did with your son. I wouldn’t let him have a car rather than a M/Cycle, but I did pay for his D/lessons, and when I retired, I gave him my car, when I was fortunately in a position to get myself another.
Nope – my eldest isn’t old enough for another nine months, although he does want one, and a motorbike. Not greatly impressed with his concept of responsibility since his big plan upon getting a bike is to spend his college lunch breaks spinning donuts and challenging cars in a race to the gates.

How do you reply to multi quotes ?
Sacrifice a virgin at Sunrise.*
Forgot to mention that quite a few of the other postal services use Royal Mail to deliver their post. QED when the price of a stamp goes up for one, then it goes up for all.
*Alternatively Sunset, although if you cannot locate a virgin when needed, open the reply with quote in a new tab for all the relevant posts then copy and paste into one reply box. It might be rocket science, but since I am not a rocket scientist I am not qualified to judge.

Parking lights? On a motorway?
With the middle lane hoggers I usually indicate, move out and overtake them before indicating and pulling back in – not so close as to risk wiping off their front and my rear – to my original lane. Sometimes I get a little smug if they then move out of the middle lane.

Nah, his concentration is too lightweight. He won’t even get through to the end of this sentence…;o)
Maybe he will tell us, though, what bait he’s using to catch what.
