    :p

    Darn…

You mean the FBC-1 couldn’t even handle the likes of Pablo Escobar???

    Sad! Sad indeed!!!

    :p

Escobar can use a very advance air to air weapon:the AAM Corruption-1 :dev2: and the ASM Bribe-2 :diablo: will destroy any radar station, those weapons will nullify the speed and acceleration of the FC-1 and it`s GCS or AWACS guidance, also the AAM Corruption-1 with it`s US demand homing seeker is quit advanced and won`t follow the Chaff/Flare dispenser Police and Border patrol-23American-C 😮 quit advanced seeker.
The FC-1 is a very powerful piece of machinery but to expensive to handle the ones like Escobar while the AAM Corruption-1 :diablo: exists 😀

Here’s how I envision the JH-7 and how it’ll prove itself:

Coupled with the C-802, the JH-7 is a deadly and dedicated
naval system for any armed forces. I meam imagine the Argintinians going
at it with the Brazilians, or maybe with the Bolivians, or, imagine them taking on the
Columbian druggies who might have infiltrated their jungles!

With the JH-7/C-802 combo, these guys’ll be toast for sure!!!

    .

That is plain fantasy, the JH-7 if it was going to be used it would not be against Brazil or Chile since MERCOSUR is basically an European Union style economic and political group looking for integration not for military interventions that no country in south america can pay for.

Argentina does not need JH-7s since no country will invade Argentina in South America, if Brazil gets JH-7 it will be to be use it as a deterrement to the US since Brazil wants it`s borders to be safe without any base to attack them.
Against drug dealers well, Argentina already has T-27 Tucanos 😉

China can help militarily Brazil but China is not an ally as England is to the US but an Ally as India is to South Africa.

Crap, I meant to say the Argentinians are MUCH better with the Chinese than the Russians.

But yes, FC-1 or J-10 would be a much better deal.

I feel China could offer some technology transfer but FAMA now is Lockheed Martin Argentina.
Russia and Israel are the main suppliers of modern military aircraft in Latin America, so the Chinese could offer JH-7 or FC-1 but they have still need to prove they are reliable suppliers, Russia now is selling helicopters and fighter jets and is a known supplier, in fact Argentina has Su-29 acrobatic propeller driven aircraft , but Argentina has been a traditional US customer, i doubt the Argentinians will buy military jets from China, what happens with many Chinese is they think Brazil and Argentina are close allies of China when in fact are just expanding the economic cooperation and diplomatic relations to boost the south americans economies a little bit further and Brazil and Argentina are doing equally important deals with India, Russia, Ucraine or South Africa but the US and Europe still have enought power in LA and Russia has worked without too much succcess to become the main supplier of aircraft due to the small military budgets

I dunno, I somehow don’t see JH-7 as the best option, possibly local production of J-10 to also replace all kinds of Argentinian Aircraft could be a good option, it could be armed with all new Chinese weapons or a mix of Israeli/Chinese weapons(Python 5, Derby/SD-10, Israeli PGMs, C-80X, etc). This is a cheap aircraft and in turn would create jobs in Argentina too.

Argentina is not going to buy JH-7 to might taste they can buy Russian rather than Chinese that rumor seems a wet dream
