Did your country helped with China’s current AWAC system as well, Erez??? Cos if you
had indeed had a hand in it, then you are going contrary to America’s wishes of not transfering military technology
to the Chinese. You’ve in fact commited an American criminal act when you did so :p.America, as you know, just won’t have it. And, without America, no baby lion for Isarel.
I feel Israel is an ally of the US but also the US sometimes betrays the US-Israeli alliances selling weapons to many Israeli enemies such as many arabs states if the US wants to show true friendship and pacifism should stop any sale of weapons to any midddle east country but Russia and China won`t do it so whlie selling weapons remains a profitable bussines betrayals in suspitions will remain among nations even in the Israeli-US case ๐
Well, I can only hope that China will find a good use for the young lion. Or should we now say, young Dragon ๐ฎ
i do not see  the wisdom of selling to China the Lavi technology if it can be re-exported to Iran or Pakistan or even Syria ๐ก
Thought I should included this:
Has it ever occured to anyone here that the all indiginous Lavi
itself “may in fact” owe its origin to or was itself an influential byproduct of
the mighty F-16? Has anyone ever considerd the possibilities???Assume!!! Not think!!!!!!!
In my book, the thing that trully pushed the Chinese forward
in the field of aeronautics is the new breed of highly challenging engineers
and designeers that the Chinese has incubated since the early days of the Deng dynasty.
Or, ever since the start of normalization of Sino-US relations. For without the expertist and the drive behind these specially
gifted individuals, no amount of :p J-10 look-alikes :p from either Israel or even if from out of
Russia will ever spring to life in China or elsewhere in the world…“Even the Mitsubishi F-2 is a purely 100% copy of the F-16 and, same goes for the Lavi!”
Another argument: Who on earth is the world going to make accountable
if by tommorrow China comes up with an F-22 or a JSF look-alike??? For examples:
Their long rumored XXJ; their J-10 “C”; their suspicious so-called F-117 look-alike which is dubbed
the H-9; and/or other radical Chinese designs that takes after western idea???Are you guys going to start blaming espionage or maybe even
outsourcing of American jobs and companies for the possible Chinese successes
of the above simply because such products are so westernized???“”INSPIRATIONS”, people! “WESTERN INSPIRATIONS”!!! Not western help!!!!”
“Neccessities, people, as they say, is the mother of all creations. And,
faced with the challenges of superior military might and technologies, the J-10, IMHO,
is a most urgent need and neccessity for China’s national defnese!!!”http://www.china.org.cn/english/scitech/109823.htm
Wizzards people, wizzards such as Issac Newton, Alexander Gram Bell,
Albert Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinchie, and more, was glorified in the west and deservingly so,
but such gifted individuals, too, exists in — other parts of the globe!!!!
About Chinese aviation there are two aspects often in disagreement:many consider any Chinese aircraft as domestic product and the Chinese domestic designations often hide the foreign origin of many Chinese aircraft, but the Chinese also have some derivative aircraft of foreign airplanes that have some domestic technology but no one can say the Chinese aircraft are 100% domestic products, infact perhaps until 2010 is very likely that the chinese will really indeed start building 100% built and designed domestic Chinese aircraft, each in every one aircraft made by China you will find a foreign technology from radar to engines or weaponry the J-10 is a Lavi derivative according too many and to the US intelligence reports, many Chinese deny that but the official Chinese reports often let see the true origins of the Chinese aircraft
Looks more like a sun-shelter. ๐
yes it does, perhaps it is one.
Look sens this nice picture of a IL-28(H-5) testing the JH-7`s radar and related air to surface missiles armament , it is very a small picture but still we can see the JH-7`s nose ogive radome and some J-8II shots
J-10 the best light weight fighter made by China
JH-7 in it`s hangar
JH-7s and J-8s
RE: Flanker_Man
“They do have a interesting tradition though – all the passegers applaud the crew on landing – very disconcerting the first time you hear it!”
Well, i thought only the Portuguese had that tradition! looks like not!
Now my opinion about the FX-Program, we must not forget some variables:
Russia is with Avibrรกs (selling SU-35)
France is with Embraer (selling Mirage)In my opinion Embraer pressure is far superior than Avibrรกs. sometime ago, i saw rumours of an agreement between Avibrรกs-Embraer-Sukhoi, and in case Russia win, Embraer will gain something.
Now we have Russia helping Brazil space program
we have the meet problem
we have Putin going Brazil in NovemberProbably Putin will try to get a signed paper, selling the planes.
More important to sell only 12 planes at begining, is to sell such planes in South America.
Maybe this new deal will include some help for the Brazilian space program, Avibras, Sukhoi and Embraer as winners and lots of meat and grain for Russia
my dear flogger, here it is a pic of an ex-peruvian air force An-26 and the An-32 FAP, the fuselage is the same, but notice the lolcation of the engines (above the wings on the An-32 due to the bigger 5180hp Ivchenko Ai-20)
a friend of mine from high school became flight engineer on the An-32, he told me he fall in love with the 32 after his first flight, he was standing behind the F/E (just looking and attached to nothing) the A/C rotated after 600 meters and put something like 45 degrees of nose up (i’ve seen them regularly doing that ๐ฎ ), he (my friend) ended up like a tumbling dice all the way back to the ramp in the back, all beaten and full of bruces…but deeply in love ๐ , i couldnt stop laughing just to imagine that, he was also laughing and said “what a performance” ๐
it made me wish i was there ๐
Camaro.
Sorry you are right do you have any information on the peruvian developed weapons, recently i read Mexico will develope a new naval Air to Surface Missile because Mexico is one of the very few nations in latin america capable of developing and building small warships but their armament is obsolete. it seems Mexico wants to develop a new and bigger domestically build and design helicarrier warship by it`s own, the Mi-17 already operates in some Mexican warships but a completly Mexican design and/or built Helicarrier and helos with updated weapons is on development for the Mexican Navy
On the pictire we have a Mexican warship and some Mexican naval helicopters ONE IS LANDING ON IT but still the Mexican warships are quit small even the ones designed and build by the mexicans with a helicopter launch pad as the one of the pictures
the JH-7 radar and J-8s
dear flogger ๐ฎ
those are An-32’s ๐ , just that. ๐
all people i’ve known lucky to fly them, told me…
I LOVE IT!!!
Camaro
I think theey are An-26 let me check it
in the meantime the Brazilain made AAM Piranha
MiG-25
A quit beautiful MiG-23 and MiG-31s
Have you read the article “Staying Power” in FlightInternational (it is in myother computer). The full production model Su-30MKI Maximum weight will be near 39 Tons.
Also Malaysia is extending and strengthening the runway for incoming Su-30MKM this should just show you that these TVC+Canard combination is not decreasing the takeoff distance.
no i have not Yahoo25, but i feel that it will make it more of an F-111 i think the Su-30MKi still will be able to take off in a lighetr mode for air combat do not think so?
Do you even understand the word “LOGIC”. that 34000KG Maximum takeoff weight for MKI means that it is incapable of takeoff with full fuel and weopon load. Either fuel weight has to be reduced from maximum or weopon load from maximum. It does not ruled out Maximum takeoff increase in future. your own MAKS brochure picture gives difference in Normal takeoff weight between MKK and MKI of 1100KG so that should be the weight of TVC+Canards.
Please give me a source where 20,000kg is quoted as the empty weight for the Su-30MKI if you do not provide me with that any assumption is not enough to finish the debate
