Long Live Mexico! Perhaps we’ll see the Mexicans assembling Chinese trainers and rovercrafts one day like I predict.

i feel they need to develop their own technology and that is the first step since the US is quit resiliant to do the same thing that Russia did

And what I find difficult to find? Pics of Floggers taken “air-to-air”, particularly air defense fighters like MiG-23MF, ML and MLD. One can find lots of pics of Floggers on the ground, or taking-off / landing, but few ones showing that awesome ventral fin extended, or wings in swept position… 🙁

From a Flogger fan (since old eighties),

I agree with you and i wonder if the MiG-23MLD was ever armed with AA-10 Alamo, i heard rumors it was reported but i have never seen one picture of it, i have seen the MiG-23-98 armed with Alamo but never the MiG-23MLD

……..yeah, thats right, and then the Soviets went on to win the Cold War…….life in cloud cuckoo land hey!?

Indeed it is, the Soviets did better than acknowledge by the US and Allies and the Syrian Mig-23MS also shot down A-4s and F-4Es 😀 the culprit a MiG-23MS

🙂 Not quite.. This is a MiG-23-98 prototype and the depicted missiles are R-77 RVV-AE (AA-12 Adder) AAMs, not AA-11s.

i edited and the last two pictures from top to bottom are of the Mig-23MLD armed with AA-11 Archer and infact also this are standard Mig-23MLD since they also carry AA-7Apex
since the MiG-23 does not carry AA-7 Apex but AA-10 Alamo

The Soviets never shot down any PAF F-16s, nor did the MiG-23MLD have any helmet mounted sights and neither could the MLD carry AA-11s…

Thsi picture tels everything a Mig-23MLd with AA-11 Archer and the Modernized Mig-23-98

Although I never really believed it before, the Russians and the Syrians say they have shot down over 10 F-16s with their Mig-23s but the Israelis and Americans deny it. I mean what chance is there that this has happend where Mig-23s were armed with BVR weapons and F-16s were limited to AIM-9s that this actually happend?

Srbin the MiG-23MS Flogger E is capable of firing R-23T the AA-7 Apex infrared version, also Syria has Mig-23MF/MLD which are more lethal and in The Afghan war the Russian had the MiG-23MLD armed with AA-11 and Helmet mounted sights and they shot down two Paksitani F-16s
