Here we go then, first few from LFA
Love the one of the Stampes.
Thanks Franck
Hope to be there tomorrow – boots got destroyed in the swamp that was La Ferte, so looks like digging out the big green wellies – cool !?!
Never been to Hullavington before – anyone know what the ground is like? (ie. is the car park likely to become a sea of mud?)
Thanks for the comment Stieglitz, and I highly recommend the museum, I was very impressed, except for the building with the two Concorde in, it was a bit too ‘busy’ and you could not see the aircraft to get decent photographs. Overall though, – Excellent.
Here’s a few more of the jets and the development aircraft.
I’ll post a few from LFA over the weekend, but they won’t be of the standard of some I’ve already seen on the forum. 🙂 😉 😀
A few from the ‘sport & recreation’ hall
Not a place to go if you have a bad headache (!), but a very original way of presenting the aircraft. (I don’t usually like seeing aircraft on poles, but this hall worked for me)
As the weather on Saturday morning was about as far away from airshow weather as could be imagined, I decided to go to the Musee de L’air at Le Bourget instead, and go to the show on Sunday.
This batch are from the ‘early years’ halls.
Condolences to the family, friends and all at Warbird Adventures.
Weren’t they just getting up and running again after the hurricane last year ?
Blue Sky.
Just a daft idea to raise money to keep her airworthy:
Wonder if anyone has thought of / is able to contact anyone (cast/production crew/whoever) that was involved in the making of ‘Memphis Belle’ to see if they would like to make a donation ?
After all, she has been advertising the film in a roundabout way ever since it was made.
(If someone has already come up with this idea and I’ve missed it – Sorry)
Thanks guys.
Any help is appreciated.
Its for my cousin out in the Far East who is planning to make a scale model.
I’ll pass on the info and when he builds it I’ll get him to e-mail me a few pics which I will post.
Fly.Buy – if you could copy that info it would be very helpful.
Thanks again.

I am a member of the Air Atlantique Classic Flight Club, and as of tomorrow (when they receive my cheque!) will be a member of the Sally B Supporters Club also.
I think the flightline photos are superb, the clods really make the pictures.
Thanks for sharing.
last few for now.
and a few more (now I’ve sorted a small glitch with my computer!)
couple more
As a few have said, I find this forum in particular a great place to learn, not only about the history side of our hobby/interest/obsession (delete as applicable!), but also about the ongoing issues that preservation of our aviation heritage faces. A good place to see both sides of arguments and, as has been said already, make a better informed opinion.
I also find it a fantastic place to see the images captured by other members, both professional and amateur photographers, and a wonderful way to share and appreciate each others photographs. So much better to be able to view, compare and share our photos with like-minded people than friends and family who (no disrespect intended) are not able to fully appreciate them, or to make constructive criticism.
Since I have been a member and been able to post images of my own, I find I am now taking more photos than ever, and trying to capture the aircraft from more interesting angles, with a view to sharing them with others, and not just storing them all away on disk for my own benefit.
I also find I am now logging on nearly every evening just to catch up with the latest posts!
