Ya I know I shouldn’t have stayed up late but it’s “24” night in college so I wasn’t going to get to sleep till late anyway.

The aptitude test went well. My maths was awful, but I haven’t done any maths since I left school 4 years ago (it’s amazing how fast you forget!).
It was also not what I was expecting. It focused on hand eye co-ordination. Whereas I thought it would be verbal reasoning and psychometric testing.

Cheers Deano I appreciate the offer but thankfully it all went well.

    Topgear finished?

I only watch Countryfile, Top Gear, (which is funded privately and sold to the BBC) and Midlands Today.

Did you hear that their might not be any more topgear!?

What are the most common aircraft to train in while in the U.K?

Here in the States it seems the Cessna 152, Cessna 172, and Piper PA.28 are the most common.

    What about there?

    Same

Sounds like a plan. Tell me when you are online and we can arrange it. I’m going tonight and will be away for the weekend. But next monday could be good.

Also, you have to tell me how it works. That is the placing the two planes in the same field etc not the formation flying, I know how that works.

Battle Royale was good, it’s about 43 kids put on an island and have to kill each other.

The new Rocky is crap, seriously their should be a public health warning attached!

Not going to happen. With the Democrats in control on one side in america they would veto any move that Bush would make to attack Iran. They cannot even do any airstrikes because congress would revoke any funding and make life very hard for Bush and the military.

Doesn’t Belfast need employment any more then?

    Moggy

Yea but if given the option of the best plane for the job or the best plane for Belfast, I’m going to hope that they surprise us by actually getting the best plane for the job this time!.

Will they go with the Tuc again?

I don’t think they will. The pilatus and the t-6b, in my opinion, are better options. There is the familarity factor that will make them want the Tucano but my money is on them making a change.

Would they consider the Pilatus PC-21?

In that case I have to ask everyone which they would rather buy a JP, PC3/7, Tucano or another similar plane?

Why don’t you post a poll for this thread? It would make this conversation much more clearer.

F-14 has to be one of the best. I was going to say that it was the F15, but the durability of the F-14 had to be given credit. Also in the later years the availability of air to ground has had a big influence. I know that there are a lot of factors against it such as the hours of flight time to hours of serviceability. But still my favourite.
