    Good book to buy.

Hey, I started the tread on the SA PPL however I did do some research in the US and I can recomend one book.

“Learning To Fly In 21 Days” by Phil Stone published by Nexus Special Interest

Fantastic book not about the technichal aspects of flying but the choosing of the place to go the steps he had to take, the differences he found and most importantly handy tips on what to ask before you go and what to bring.

I am thinking of dinig a six week course so the first thing you mentionrd should be ok. Also I would like to reccomend Irv Lee’s website to anyone going for a PPL. Especially if you are thinking of doing it abroad. His quick response and informative answers were great to recieve. There’s a link to his page above.

Also thanks to everyone who gave me some great info.

Seriously the quickest, (hardly easiest) way still seems to be giving Oxford at lot of money.

Ya but would that be as much fun?

    I’ll try 😀 😀 😀 Mark 😀

Normally, if I crash one of my aircraft it’s because I’m not used to the handling of it once it’s airborne. If it survives the first flight then it shouldn’t be too bad 😀 😀 😀

That’s what I thought. I was on my, roughly, tenth flight and I was trying to pull it out of a loop de loop and it smacked into the ground. The back end looks like it went up against an F-15 or something. Everythings in bits.

Maj. Gen. William Caldwell, a U.S. military’s spokesman, said he doubted the jet was shot down because F-16s fly very fast

F-16 fly very fast……really well their’s news for us. That General must be from U.S intelligence!

A helicopter is my next purchase. I’m surprised that you said it was harder, although I believe you, I suppose people i’ve seen flying them make it look easier. The plane I was flying had a setting on it to make it easier. So yesterday we took that setting off and it can do everything! It’s now impossable to land but the stunts you can do are brilliant!

Spitfire pilot, you should get an plane with an engine behind the cockpit so you can crash it as much as you want without any damage to the props!

I’d love to buy a Yak 52 but, unless the rules have been changed in the last few years, they’ve been banned from Ireland.

Eurofighter. Cause i’m sleek and able to pack a punch. But I spend too much, cost too much and have no idea what the word stealth means!

There’s nothing wrong with ‘Age of Empires’ but I find it doesn’t grab your attention as it’s a bit simple.

I would recomend ‘Medieval Total War’, it’s strategy and you can control the battle. Iplayed the old one but not the new one but the old one is still fantastic!
