MANAIRPORTMAD, have a really good time, sure you will! Make sure you go Go-Karting just outside the airport, it is really good fun!
sorry i was typing too quickly, missed out some words! oh dear!
all the charter airlines use TFS, which is around 15mins transfer time to the resorts
thats not funny, I mean what are the best places for spotting?
if you were in Los Cristianos you would of got some good views of them turning online, but you should have a limited view from las americas beech
HI
Although I dont live near manchester, ive been to Tenerife 7 times from Luton (im only 18). Tenerife has some limited viewing from the terminal, and used to have a spotters deck which they have now closed. With a hire car you can get to the other side of the airport, where you can get some good views.
Tenerife is a fantastic place, can you tell me where youre staying? Los Cristianos or Las Americas?
PS , Ive only bee on Monarch Scheduled on the A321/320 and 757’s – lot of space, so I cant comment on the flights, although its usually 757’s from MAN.
Regards
Ashley
FR has such a monopoly on the DUB route, would EZY be able to make a profit. Other regional routes could include: NCL, LPL or MAN
I agree about LED, but places like Thessaloniki, Hereklion and the Canaries have huge tourist potential. With IT operators dictating charter flights, the independant traveller will be glad to hear of such a service and for all the expats in Greece and the Canaries which are not well served. I would not think that such routes would be daaily, possiblely 2 or 3 times weekly operating sometimes at night to utilise aircraft. These people dont mind travelling at night, which would not be buisiness routes.
i wuld love to see Tenerife added as Monarch Scheduled is charging over £250, which I hink is too expensive
I think the most likely *NEW* routes could be:
Copenhagen
Lisbon
Ibiza
Bucharest
Oslo
Prague
St Petersberg?
Croatia – Up and coming tourist destination
Varna – Same as above
*Gran Canaria / Lanzarote – untapped market?

Yesterday easyJet announced they would be basing three new aircrafts at the airport and this comes in addition to be low routes which have been lauched in the last two weeks.
The last few weeks must have seen the largest growth in the airports history!
I am wondering if Ryanair’s announcement is in response to the latest row they are having with BAA about the charges at Stansted.
There have been rumours for years Ryanair would annouce a major base at Luton and that day has finally come.
This comes in addition to other services that have been announced at Luton in recent weeks:
easyJet
2x Daily Service – Dortmund
2x Daily Service – Warsaw
1x Daily Service – Krakow
Increase to 2x Daily Service – Budapest
Wizz Air
2x Daily Service – Warsaw
1x Daily Service – Gdansk
Increase to 2x Daily Service – Katowice (Krakow)
Increase to 3x Daily Service – Budapest
Britannia (TUI)
1x Weekly Service – Sharm El Sheikh
Thomas Cook Airlines
Annouced a second aircraft will be based at LTN during July, August and September. With two 757’s being based at the airport throughout the Summer Season 05.

norwich
not bad idea, airtours make it work with Md80’s
whats the point in doing that?
I think that the 321’s that sas are getting rid of would be quite good for them, and they will be able to get them for a good price. What about 767’s for the long routes?
32C in London, and im not burnt yet!
