What may have been a contributing factor in this case, imho, is the highly aggressive right wing media in the United States, specifically Fox news and the like.

The VERY aggressive rubbish being turned out by the extreme right in the US now is being blamed as a contributer. Sara Palin’s website up until yesterday ran an add about “Neutralising” or some such term certain states politicians. The State of Arizona was one with cross hairs from a rifle scope over the State. Whatever your political leanings the inflaming and confrontational stuff being pedalled now is dangerous.

Didn’t last long that one, I think the 985 version looked better than the 720 one. All yours John.

I noticed today it was ‘fancy dress day’ at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

All the Aussie supporters had turned up disguised as plastic seats.

    Moggy

Australian cricket crowds would have to be the most unsportsmanlike there is, the Barmy Army have been going rain hail or shine to pommie defeats for a long time. As soon as Strayliya starts to lose the crowds stay away in droves, it’s still good cricket with some good shots but just not by Australia.:D

Ponting has lost some of his match fee, mebe better he might never Captain
Australia again. With luck we might get a Captain who doesn’t try and bully and intimidate the opposition but just win with good cricket. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bloke
