Do you get many Croc’s or Sharks in greater Melbourne Steve? 😀 Melbourne is indeedy a dangerous place you could get a Latte made with out of date milk, get bruising from overcrowded trams and maybe some heatstroke (not much simpathy from the poms with that one) with the weather yoove bin getting lately. Lifes hard in the colonies there’s no doubt about it.

That was day I saw Kermit try and go flying with the control lock in the rudder (10th march 07 to be precise) of his T6!!!!!!!!!!!! 😮

Please correct me if I’m wrong but how would you go flying with a rudder lock in? Take off straight ahead? Did he get in and start taxing with the lock in? Would the rudder be also locked? How do you do your checks when you go flying in your Harvard, get the ground crew to do the walk around or insist on doing them yourself? Do you check your Aircraft if the ground crew have OK’d it?

I’ll agree with Moggy about the Garmin Pilot 111, great little unit. The screen is a bit small but if you have younger eyes it will be OK. The colour one’s are overated, I have a Pilot 111, 196 and a 296 the 296 is harder to read in the bright sunlight, although that might not be a problem in old blighty! as you get older your sight fades and the smaller screens are harder to see, I don’t mind wearing the glasses it’s the hairy palms I can’t handle. 😀

I think to be fair anybody who comments on wimmins (Orstrayliyan spelling) looks should first post their own photos. Lets see how photogenic the picky blokes are. 😀

If you go into a fish shop in Britain and order fish and chips you get Cod or up north Haddock …Melburnians have been eating shark all their lives..you go into any fish and chip shop in Melbourne and ask for fish and chips you get battered Flake (Gummy Shark)

That’s why some of them are contemplating careers as thermometers 😀
