Another thing I hate about my CFS is when it shut’s itself down in the middle of a dogfight 🙁 🙁 🙁

I was flying for the Luftwaffe the other day during the Battle of Britain (I’ve finnished the RAF campaign) and was in an ME109E that looked more like a bathroom sponge than a fighter plane.

Dispite being heavily damaged and almost uncontrolable I actually managed to out-manoeuvre AND shoot down a Hawker Hurricane and finish the mission (although I have no idea how!!!)……before I could land however, what happens, it shuts itself down!!!!!!

I was fuming!!!! I’d have got a medal for that I’m sure but the damn thing shut down!!!!!! 🙁 🙁 🙁 I’ll have to have another close encounter again to repeat that 😀 😀 😀

Tony Nijhus has done plans for all of those, but I would look at the ARTF GWS DC3, it has a 5′ span and costs £80! By all accounts it flies very well

I’ll look into it 😀 😀 😀 So, how’s the DC3 coming along then????? I’m going to work on my Spitfire when I get home…….see if I can get the wings sorted out by January 3rd (When I get back)…..If I do then I’ll post some pics 😀 😀 😀

Mark, I’ve found that mini-Mossie plan if you fancy a bash at that….

Sure!!! 😀 😀 😀 Let me know all the details (price etc) and I see what I can do 😉

    That’s true. I think the closest thing I’ve played to a full on WW1 battle was Hog’s of War on PS1 😀 😀 😀 LOL 😀

At the moment I am pasting them into ‘Paint’ which would probably compress them……they end up looking more like watercolour paintings than flight simulators and the colours do seem to change from time to time (for example, I have purple edges on the white cliffs of dover 😀 😀 😀 )

I don’t actually have the internet at home so I was going to transfer it here via floppy disc (fat chance of that, eh!!!) 😀 😀 😀 I would do the screendumps here in the office but there is a software restriction policy in place so I can’t even install CFS on here……..they have to be awkward!!!!!

I could perhaps try pasting them into Microsoft Word 2000 and transport them that way……the pictures I put into word documents here are very good quality. I just need to re-install Microsoft Word (if I can find the disk) 😀 😀 😀

My computer is in a right mess 😀 😀 😀

How you can all get such beautiful shots I don’t know…..I tried to do a screen dump of a spitfire that I had to belly land after receiving a fair amount of combat damage (along with some of me flying over the White Cliffs of Dover etc) and they are dramatically reduced in quality……so much so that I’d be a bit nervous about posting them.

It’s a real shame as it looked pretty awesome (exept for the slightly inaccurate looking flight model) and I would have liked to post it…….any advice would be much appreciated 😀 😀 😀

Actually, thinking about it, I’m not even sure if Llandrindod has entered the 19th century yet 😀 😀 😀 LOL 😀
