Ah, Lighten up. You have the same sense of humor as the people rioting in the streets, threatening genocide of innocents because of a cartoon.

“Third world hellhole” is intended as an ironic statement. If they HATE western civilization so much, why are they HERE? Obviously they see benifits of “our” culture and society, otherwise, they would have remained in their home countries. If they disparage Western civilization so much, and yet flock to it, their homeland MUST have been really bad!

These groups rioting are pretty much scum of the earth, and obviously not representitive of even the local population. When you’re oppressed, miserable and forbidden to speak out against your opressive dictator, you seize every oppurtunity to erupt in rage and frustration, no matter who/what it’s directed at.

It sickens me, and I hope it serves as a wake up call to people about how there are people that want to destroy our civilization. however, it’s really just a few thousand crazy idiots, running wild, and not a major revolution. What needs to be assured, is that it DOES NOt become anything bigger. then we’re in for a nasty situation.

All this reminds me of when I read in the Sun about Abu Hamza. He was quite content on having us, the British people, paying for him and his family to stay in Britain while he ranted on about how he wanted us all dead and burned our flag!!!!!!!!!!!! 😡 😡 😡

If I had a sniper rifle, I would have gone to London and put a bullet right between his eyes. I’m not being nasty or even racist. I have many foreign friends and even muslim friends who I am proud to call friends but I love my country and I don’t like seeing people burn my countries flag while I am expected to pay for them to stay here in comfort.

I don’t just consider it free speech but also a well know fact that some apparent “muslims” have turned out to be terrorists (for example London 7/7). I do agree with the general muslim community that it was wrong of the newspaper to brand them terrorists (but is this actually the case???????)

Surely, if the newspaper had intended to brand all muslims “terrorists” then they would have made all of the muslims in the comic out to be terrorists. Would they see it the same if it were the other way around????????
