These kids think that the entire world owes them something. I don’t owe them jack ******* ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been mugged a few times overe the years, also been stabbed in the arm once when I was around 17 and locking up a shop I then worked in.

Most of these attacks (about 3 in total) happened when I was younger and less able to defend myself either from the mugging itself or the shock of it all. Yes it’s shocking and can induce levels of anxiety and even mild depression in the victim, but you need to realise these events are generally random and not personal. You have to consider that you are still alive and well and have simply been unlucky.

You should report the matter, they do get caught sometimes and it’s worth letting the authorities know, just in case the swines think about doing it again on the same patch.

I was recently approached (a month or so ago) whilst walking home from the pub with my prized portion of deep fried takeaway, by a pair of young neds/chavs. One of whom crossed the road to walk the other side whilst the other one proceeded to “chat me up”.

Being aware of the agenda and the fact I am now a thirty something, six foot something and not afraid to strike back, I told the little sh*t to cross the road if he knew what was good for him. Unfortunately I allowed him the luxury of gaining the first blow as a wiry little fist attempted to connect with my face and grab my bag of grub.

To cut a long story short he got away with the food, but I hope he had a blender or liquidiser in his hovel, because otherwise he must have looked pretty funny trying to eat it with NO *********G TEETH !!!

Why didn’t you just boot him in the balls.

I’ve had plenty Jordan. Although I’ve never been mugged as such, I’ve been ambushed, assaulted, threatened, bullied, beaten up. You name it!!!!! I have even been forced to watch while they ganged up on my girlfriend…………..The reason being that if I’m lying on the floor next to her then I’m not that much use to her, am I????

It has affected me in the long run though. No broken bones but a few damaged teeth and a sore head (one head-butted me about 20 times). It has shot my nerves to peaces but the difference here is that I know my attackers and they know me (and where I used to live) and so posed a large threat but I have refused to give up and all of them have been prosecuted.

Am I right in thinking that your friend doesn’t know his attackers????? If he doesn’t there is little chance that they will come back for another go. To them, he would just have been some poor beggar walking home alone and a good target.

Tell your friend not to worry about it. Should they be caught then he can feel free to prosecute them (personally, I would – but that’s just me) but it is not likely to repeat itself.
