Perhaps. I just thought ‘reg’ was very much a universally known abbreviation. I’m more than happy to be proved otherwise, though. 🙂

In the States, reg stands for regulations. It didn’t fit the context of the conversation.
What you are referring to, we call the Tail Number.
And now, I’m off to visit with the In-Laws for Christmas. I would much rather spend the time here with you guys. Believe me.
    Merry Christmas all.

    By the way,
Just because I am an airline pilot doesn’t mean I know everything about aviation; military, civil, or commercial. I would not fly with another pilot who was convinced he knew everything. I learn something new every time I fly. I will quit flying the day that is no longer true.

No but a quick look at the reg confirms it’s a 500…:D

The reg? Not familiar with that term.

Do you trust the news media to report it correctly?

Where do I stand? Well given the choice, I’d prefer to be the assistant. :dev2:

Some types actually “Hijack” your registry. Here is the link to a free program that will clean bad stuff out of the registry. There is a pay version, but it doesn’t do much more than the free version.

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/

Lavasoft AD-Aware is also good and free. It will get rid of the Trojans.
    Spybot is another. Google them.

    Good luck.

I prefer the left. I get paid more as pilot in command and I like being the aircraft commander better than being a first officer.

Brilliant book. Definitely a magic read for Christmas Eve with a glass of Scotch to hand.

Contributors under the legal age for drinking alcohol should not try this at home 😉

    Moggy

I prefer Bourbon (no ice or water, of course), but the idea is sound.

Have you heard of Gordon Page? An American who has been to Russia to recover 109s and is now working on the ‘Spirit of Flight’ Center. Worth checking out if have not already.

Sorry, I am not familiar with the gentleman.
