What makes me sick is that these guys live among us showing that they are ‘average joe’ but with a dark secret.

Also we have to share some blame because we (civilised) created afghan ann vietnam wars just to make a political statement.. 😡 The offshoot of these two wars are they ones we are dealing with today..

What makes me angry is that west only started to call these people ‘terrorists’ only after 9/11. Before that these people were killing innocent people in chechnya, afghanistan, kashmir and they are called ‘freedom fighters’…. 😡

How come somebody who is born in western country and civilized values can do such thing.. Is religion makes them do it… I dont think so.. it is more than religion.

Why a person who doesnt bother relgion most of his life suddenly become religious… Something is going on..

    From the BBC link

Mohammad Sidique Khan: Aged 30, from Beeston, Leeds, recently moved to Dewsbury, married with baby. ID found at Edgware Road blast site.
Hasib Mir Hussain(confirmed): Aged 18, lived Holbeck, Leeds. Reported missing on day of bombings. Said to have turned very religious two years ago. ID found in No 30 bus.
Shehzad Tanweer(confirmed): Aged 22, born Bradford, lived Beeston, Leeds. Studied religion in Pakistan. Forensic evidence linking him to Aldgate blast.
Lindsey Germaine: Jamaican-born man who lived in Buckinghamshire.

Its really sad but the only person I just dont get in all of this is the first one, HE HAS A BABY AND EVERYTHING, he left them behind, what kind of madarassah would do that to you?

Most madarassahs in pakistan teach radical stuff… again these guys are just foot soldiers..

Well the news channel were interviewing this guy’s mates, and they all said he was completely down to earth. He was only interested in educaton and sports, and he never mentioned terrorism at any time, so he must have been forced to do this. There’s no other way.

I’m not saying this, I only got it from the news reports. But of course, the above remains to be seen…

This was the same type of report when 9/11 happened here.. nice people, doing their job.. but atlast we all came to know they are sleepers…

According to reports, these people did not intend on bombing thr tube/bus. Apparently, they were forced into doing this by someone.

Can u explain what do you mean by ‘these people did not intend on bombing thr tube/bus’ . I mean these are the guys who pulled the trigger…

actually you are wrong there, taiwan wanted to increase its fleet of the Mirage 2000s but France declined its request due to improving trading relationship with China.

Now its logical in yur sense to just devide the total price with the number of planes, typical middle school math we all did, but in a deal such as that there is more to it, weapons, maintenance equipment and spares.

India is not buying a car and neither Qatar is selling one. the mirages IAF has and Qatari mirages are different aircraft and the maintenance equipment is somewhat different also.

Storage doesnt mean these birds are in bad shape, on the contrary, less wear-n-tear, crossion, flying hours etc.

Ont rh other hand low balling shows that IAF is not serious about Mirage 2000s and as the indian air chief had said previously IAF is looking for only twin engine aircraft, so its either SUs, Mig-29s, Rafael and F-18.

We all know that F-18s is out as per Chief, rafel is too expensive, even French cannot afford it and induction time frame would be too long. The only choice IAF has is the Russian platform, and most likely it will be Mig-29s.

India atlast doing some strong arm tactics is good.. not allowing the qataris to sell it to Pak. Also as said Pak doenst want unique 12 numbers unless it is delivered free..

In the end, qataris has no other go except to sell to India.. wait and watch..

Mavaustin, I agree with your opinion it might be Mig-29… But there is a chance for M2k .. IMO 50 : 50

I guess, both sides were intelligent enough to project engines that would exactly suit their needs. US engines use more high-tech and as such alast longer, but also require tough maintenance standards, Russian engines use cheaper materials and as such last shorter , but are sturdy and tolerant to harsh conditions with little maintenance.

    – I agree..
