Re the Shack pedals, Alan, that makes sense – but yes very subtle differences that could be missed if you didn’t know any different.

I was going to say something similar Cees, as it seems not all Halifax’s had the middle lever. It also makes sense why one lever on AM’s box is shorter and throwing a bit of a red herring – as it would of originally been longer than the remaining one!

_Mike_ I live pretty close to Newmarket and would love to see any photos that you’d care to share. 

In 1979 we had an F-111 crash even closer to us near Harlton, not far from Cambridge. I can still remember the bang of the capsule jettisoning – and the helicopters flying around looking for the crew. I would of been around twelve years old at the time!
