Um, what’s a Hermes fin when it’s at home?
The sole surviving Handley Page Hermes (fuselage only) aircraft is housed at Duxford. The fin of which seems to of been scrapped/lost/etc.
Those are amazing photos. The one of you sitting in the P.111 gives good scale to the diminutive size of the aircraft.
In the aircraft engine collection, just right of centre near the back, could that possibly be a RR Clyde turboprop?! :confused:
