Would be great, would the MAM restore it? Not sure where they’d put it, a dedicated building for it would be good, not sure where they’d build it though unless they bought some land from the railway centre next to it (not sure what’s going on there, just seems to be a few carriages and locomotives doing nothing and been the same since I can remember)

T6Flyer has a very nice photo of a repainted ex-Utterly Butterly Broussard, i’d never heard of one before I saw the pic!

Yeah was looking at it the other day, and noticing how different the motor museum in the centre of Coventry looks, so was trying to put a date on it. Are the two large white four engined transports bottom right the Air Atlantique Lockheed Electras? Remember seeing them there when I was little and thinking they were Vickers Viscounts

Got a book about ‘Austers in British Military Service’, haven’t had the chance for a good look at it yet but looks good, and also £180 in cash and cheques which will be useful as well!

Once at a tank museum on the Norfolk Coast, I got my dad to stop opposite the gate guardian to get a photo of it (it was a Comet WW2 British tank), and as soon as I took the photo BOOM two F15 Eagles flew over me at about 50 feet heading to the north sea, also remember in the same week walking along the sea wall at Cromer and watching two Jaguars fly by at zero feet over the sea, could see the roundels on the top of the wings from where I was

I grabbed a twin lewis and mounted it because it looked better for the photos. Same mount and it made up for the lack of the front guns.

Ah seems fair enough, where did the front guns go? There was a couple of .30 cals in the film mounted up front in the film

Wow nice – thought the movie aircraft only had a single gun in the rear though?
