    Cool, didn’t realise they had an Auster there, cheers! Any idea if the Argus is a piston or radial engined one? Be nice to have a piston one as Cosford’s is radial, and as far as I know thats all the ones in the UK

    Ooo nice, do you know where the Meteor NF11 is from? Could be the one from Midland Air Museum, think theres went a while ago (can’t remember if it was there last time I visited)

    Cheers, going to try and get myself in the two local papers (Well ones for the whole county, which means even more support!) and also maybe get a mini-website going for updates etc. The date should be either 11th or 12th February 2006, so not that far away, also means it’ll be bloomin’ cold!

    Excellent, cheers! Would love to see photos of the Mk III as well, still have my 1/48 scale model of one in my room to finish when i get the time.

    Leicestershire museums have a dedicated volunteer for Auster enquiries, i was told by someone working for them, could ask them for you if you like

    Which airfield will you be jumping at?

    Sibson, near Peterborough. It’s an ex-RAF base, and i’ll be jumping from a pretty neat looking aircraft, the Turbolet 410 – it’ll be the first time i’ve ever flown in a civilian aircraft!

    Hehe don’t worry about that one, have to pay the money in advance. Managed to raise £65 so far since Saturday night so doing pretty well!
