I think the BA livery looks a little bit better without the blue along the bottom, reminds me of Concorde.

The best approach, i think, for me was at Edinburgh. ATC didnt turn me in time so some tight turns in a 757. Nothing spectacular but i must say i enjoy the approach to Innsbruck because of all the mountains nearby.

There is also massive demand for more ATC’ers in the Netherlands. They are advertising every year to attract new students. I did want to get in, but there is a limit on how strong your glasses may be (max -5.0) and I am at that limit.

Seems a bit strange a requirement though, considering that most of the time you will not look anywhere but on a radar screen. Some parts of ATC don’t have a view other than the radar at all!

I need to wear glasses sometimes but i dont fully understand why there needs to be limit if you have glasses/contacts/laser eye treatment then why does it matter. I do undersatnd that you may loose your glasses, they may break or you contacts may fall out, is it this that means a limit?

Yes it’s being doing touch and goes for most of today.

Is it just for training? (it was channelex 010T) I was listening to him on my scanner, he did a few circuits then landed for a crew change then did for more (and after that to the bar). On the last on he went the wrong way, he went left instead of right downwind.
