I noticed years ago the the hull plating on some Titanic pics didn’t match on others, but did match some pics of Olympic

Odd as the name was clear but I always though the pics were probably retouched as often in those days as detail did not always come out and so was painted on.

When I read about the conspiracy theory, suddenly that and other odd facts that were had to understand, seemed to fit together.

The conspiracy theory is the only story that ties all the facts together.

Whether it is true of not, it does seem remarkable close to what the evidence suggests.

I read the helicopter pilot accidentally squawked “Hijack”

I doubt if they’d ask him on radio incase the hijackers were listening in and risk giving the tip off away.

If that was the case then the respose and lack of radio request makes sense.

The B2 had and increased wingspan, but the tanker had the wings shortened to relieve stress.

I don’t know if that was back to B1 or something else

The intakes are a dead giveaway, without changing those it’s a bit of a lost cause I’m afraid:(

I don’t think adding on time for bad behaviour instead of taking it off would change anything

As it stands, if the court feels a person should spend four years in prison they sentence them to six, knowing that four is what they will do.

All that would happen is that they would be sentenced to four not six as now

It is easier to keep them in for the whole six if bad behaviour is shown rather than extend it.

They should have replaced the Hawk many years ago with an up to date product

For years no the British industry has continued to sell old product lines until they finally fade out and then just close up.

As mentioned above, the skill base has long since go to produce a civil airliner and the only one that comes close and still in production well past it’s time is the Islander.

I really don’t know why Airbus, when expansion determines new production line to assemble the jetliners, Britain never seems to be on the list.

Airbus have a capacity shortfall, the answer would seem obvious. I suspect a lot of the current backlog of A.320 series machines will never be built as by then the NEO will be the current version and the orders switched.

If there was not such a big backlog, many of those would be have been built then later replaced by NEOS meaning two sales in place of the one they are likely to make in such cases.

How can you relax a law temporarily??

The law is either needed or not, you can’t chop and change to suit business.

If they want to get the country out of the crises, make the bankers who caused it pay instead of them getting big bonuses for helping get out of the mess they caused.

Leave the ordinary working folk alone

Personally I think it should be left in place for the reasons of leaving Sunday special weather for religious reasons or just family time.

As for Sunday trading, does anyone spend more because the shops are open

I, like most spent all my disposable income on living. This is divided over 6 days, divide it into seven gives an extra days trading but no increase in spending power

The shops lose because they open at a cost to take money they would be taking on the other six day if they were not open on Sunday.

This only works if all shops are shut…there is no reason why they can’t be.

Garages could be open, only to sell petrol and chemist only to sell certain items, but general shopping can wait.

    Thanks for those:cool:

Great to see Southend coming back to life, it deserves better that it’s recent history.

Yes…a few Golden Viscounts and the odd Carvair or half dozen would be nice:D

You could probably read the lettering off a model decal sheet

if it is to add to paints for FS, bear in mind it is not going to be clearly readable at 1 point or so.
