[I don’t think the Lizzie was equipped with the Twin Wasp Junior, only the Boly. The alternative engine (Lysander) in the UK was the Perseus.
Interestingly the CWH Bolingbroke long-term restoration to airworthy is planned to be powered by TWJ’s.

[QUOTE=brewerjerry;2026336]Hi All,
The Mercurys for the Bolingbroke and Canadian Lysanders were all imported from the UK. It was thought that the Mercury engine supply from across the pond might dry up at some point so some Bolingbrokes were built with P & W Twin wasps, but only in small numbers.

[Ozplane:
I think the Canadian Air & Space Museum in Toronto is still without a permanent home and the collection is not accessable to the public.
If you interested in the Arrow your best bet is to take a trip to the Canada Aviation & Space museum in Ottawa. There is a complete Genuine Arrow nose section on Display there. But not that the reserve collection at Ottawa, normally available for viewing by tour, will be closed all summer.

[QUOTE=Mauld;2020760]It did have it before, heres a video taken on my first evening air show. Sadly I won’t make this one.
Nice video, beautiful aeroplane (even with the skinny little bit of modern antenna). Have any more videos from O/W you could share with us?

Lovely pic of the Elf. Disregard my comment posted on the other O/W posting!

Thanks for posting the pics. Nice to see a picture of the Elf flying. It’s usually ignored.

Thanks for posting them

Conair, Abbotsford BC had at quite a few 580’s converted to water/fire retardant bombers. I think they are still active.

I’ll believe you Jetflap!!
Interestingly there is a Canadair Argus parked outside of the Canadian Aircraft and Space Museum in Ottawa along side a North Star (basically an unpressurised Argonaut used by the RCAF). So if you find yourself in Ottawa this Spring/Summer, you will be able to make the comparison. (They will both be back inside for the winter)

Jetflap: The BOAC “Argus” is an Argonaut. A Canadair Argus is a much different animal altogether. Interesting pics though, particularly the Convairs. I remember them from my first visit to Heathrow a few years later.
Thanks for posting.

Thanks for posting the pic Robbo, she looks great!
