I’ll second Keith Park, hero of the B of B and the air battle over Malta.
The rudders there….?
So it is! I guess I was fooled by that extension at the top of the fin.

Thanks for the update and pics, Turretboy. She looks good but hopefully they haven’t mislaid the rudder.

Thanks for the info. I think that model was the last true Riley. The later ones were cloned from other BMC models.
Best regards

Great pics. Looks like a fun day. Loved the Riley. I lusted after one of those in the early ’60’s but they were a much sought after item even then.

Nice pics. I visited that museum almost 20 years ago when ir was located at White Rock, near the US border. They had some other aircraft then that never made it to the Langley site. I remember a Vertol H-21, a Vampire and a Mooney Mite among others.
A pity that the Hampden has’t made it inside yet.
Thanks
Bill
Thanks for that TT. I did realize that my question might raise some ire, so I chose the wording carefully. Obviously not carefully enough!
As you said the was no criticism or disrespect intended in the question.
Very best of luck to all involved with the project.

She looks great! Are they able to forcast a date for the first flight yet?

Yes Gordy, let’s have some more. Great change from all that warbird stuff! Where exactly is Brodhead anyway?
