Papa Lima, is this the real Memphis Belle?
You can always try to ask them. Maybe you can send a polite e-mail to TFC.:D 😀 😀
It is reported that they are in airworthy condition. Also, it is reported that a me109 will fly at the Internationale Luft- und Raumfahrtausstellung in Berlin on 14-16 may. It is written at the site of this event that a Me109-G6 will preform a FLYING display!:D
So I think Me109 G-6 D-MFBB will fly at this show!!!
see this link of the aircraft participants at this show:

I don’t think the buchon flew often. I can’t find any photo of the plane in the air on the net.
Has anyone seen this plane fly in the past? I wonder.
Both messerschmitts (G-10 D-FEHD and G-6 D-FFMB) are located at Ingolstadt/Manching in Germany.
See this french-language site for more info:

Also see the site of the Vormezeele Collection who owns te buchon:

I am waiting for some months to see the release of this plane. It looks fantastic. Hopfully, the flightcharacteristics are as realistic as they promis. I can’t wait to fly this one in FS2004.:D
Of course it will also be nice to see the real PV202 back in the air.
Even with the tragic accident a few years ago, this plane wil be a lovely flying machine. It is a new start. When you see it in the air, you could think about it as a tribute tho those men who lost their lives in the crash. Their loss was very sad, but life and warbird-flying (their passion) must go on.
Yes, Clostermann did fly the spitfire. In 2001 ‘cryingtoto’ made a fs2000 version of his spit. The flightsim plane can be found at http://www.flightsim.com. Look in the file libraries.
What dou you think of the idea of bringing vintage vehicles and airplanes together in such a big show?
Are there similar events elsewhere in Europe?
Greets.
