I’m glad you like them Wingswheeler! I got a pic from you too, but I only wanted to post nice pics here, so … :p The flight was a nice reward after we cleaned out the hangar. A great experience as always! 🙂
Greets,

Thanks for reminding me Peter. That is number one on the list. Any more?
Regards,

I’ve just visited this warbird directory. Very interesting, but indeed a bit out of date. Is there any more recent info out there?

Ja ja en gelijk maar air to air! BW Roger
Ja! Hihi. 😉
Any chance we’ll see you in the UK this season?
I don’t think so. For now, the Flying Legends team has been requested to appear in the Netherlands, France and Belgium for the 2005 season.
In the past, the team did attend several shows in the UK. Mostely at North Weald and Southend.

And after another great flight, we where back home. A wonderful day to fly!

When we departed to return home, a local SV4C (OO-PWA) departed together with us.

We landed at Moorsele to drink a coke.

X problem solved now.
And here are the next ones. As Ive said, the teame is known for CLOSE formation flying. Next pics to give you an idea of what I mean:

We changed from formation several times. Here you can see the leading pilot give the sign to fly an echelon right formation:

And the Tiger Moth is always nice to see with it’s silver painted wings:

Next one is the nice white SV4C OO-LYR which was the founding plane of this collection 16 years ago. It returned to the air in 2004 after several years with engine trouble. But it is back now! Isn’t she a beauty!

So we where airborne. Now several pics from the planes:
Staerting with the leading plane which was the wonderful Boeing Stearman OO-USN. Look at its superb wooden propeller! 😎

The team is know for very close formation flying! During the practice, 4 types of formation where flown:
1. V-formation
2. Box Formation
3. Echelon right
4. Echelon left
The Stearman was the first aircraft to give the thumbs up signal so he was ready at the runway 07 for departure.

several years ago, I cried when it was the final episode of the A-team.
I also was a huge fan of Alo Alo and keeping up appearances.
