Thanks a lot Martin! I am still amazed by that highback configuration. Any idea why they where built that way and was this a seperate type/model of the fw44!
Nice pics!

What a picture JDK! At least it is ‘preserved’ but as the photographer says:
Shame or Glory? I am not sure.

Question for SwissMustang.
Swiss Bucker were either seriallesd A-numeral or U-numeral.
Why?
If you take a closer look, you will notice that the A code is for the Jungmann’s and the U code for the Jungmeister’s. Maybe we should think in the lines of primary and advanced biplane training?
Swiss Mustangs,
That Stieglitz looks awsome!!! That is the first pic I see of a ‘highback’ Stieglitz (Shame on me!!! 😮 ) Was this variation only in use with the aiforce of argentina?
Also nice to see the SV4b of the former Belgian Air Force SV4 display team.
Franck 66,
I knew you enjoyed your ride in the Stieglitz and its great to see you have such nice pics to remember it! Also Nice Bucker pics as always! 🙂
If someone else has Bucker or Stieglitz pics, please post them! I love Biplanes!
Thanks guys.

We simply can’t get enough of it! I doubt that I got as many pics of Buckers, compared to you. But I couldn’t resist to add these two.
Thanks for all the nice Bucker pics F3Hadlow! 😉

Another great pic. It’s stunning to see those spits in an orange/red sheme. 🙂
Very nice Mark!
J.V.
Nice pic indeed? 😎
Do you have more pics from this show and this spit Mark?
J.V.
Great videos and pics of this nice plane. 😎
And look who got the credits on the In flight video! Maybe someone we know …. 😉
Greets,
J.V.
I have… Believe me, you have missed a LOT !!!
That’s right. I only saw a Viggen display once here in Belgium. I hate to say it shadow 1, but I loved it! 😎
One of the nicest more jets are. I hope that one may indeed continue to fly in that historic flight.

Since we both like Buckers, here are some of my more recent Bucker pics:
1 and 2: A Bucker based in the Netherlands, seen here at last years Fly-inn at schaffen in Belgium. (Anyone has it’s civil registration???)
3. Another 1954 built, Dutch based Jungmann at the same fly-inn.
4. One of my favorites: The 1936 built Bucker Jungmeister (SN51) OO-EII seen here at my local airfield (Kortrijk-Wevelgem, Belgium) during it’s only flight since 1996 in early 2004.

LS326 (which is grounded since 2000) may be back at the end of 2005 if everything goes as planed and W5856 (which was grounded in early 2004) is going to sit out the complete 2005 season.
Greets,
J.V.
It’s great to see that the RNHF get’s a bit financial support. This only can help to secure their operations during the 2005 season. 🙂
And as you have noticed Kye, the Stringbags are resting for the 2005 season due to maintenance, …

It’s an interesting report aboout the Stinson restoration. The work seems to make a good progress. 🙂
I was also suprised to read that the next project in line is a Seversky P35! I hope to see a lot more in the future about this project. 😎

silver paint
Didn’t they paint parts the US (ex champlin) located FW190 Dora silver paint to protect it from corrosion. This plane is not flown, but shouldn’t it be possible to do it on a flying B-17.

Wasn’t the movie ‘633 Squadron’ and it’s way of using its mosquito’s such an example. I thought some mossies didn’t survive the movie. 🙁
