More shameful Zeppelin bits, with a mod plate. Someone is knocking out a lot of those ‘Theatre of War’ labels.

I think this or similar may have been discussed a while back, with a Ju87 gun panel appearing from Russia unmarked, then reappearing with the werk no. applied. Andy should be able to shed more light.

Bendix also made gun turrets. This has the look of ammunition feed. How does the length of the cone relate to the length of a .5 round? (approx 13cm)

What was the cockpit from? I couldn’t work it out but it didn’t look Helldiver. It had what looked like intake ducting at the back end. Someone clearly made a good offer for it.

Item 6 looks similar to a bit of Lanc I have, sits at the back of the instrument panel. Will try and dig it out for a comparison.

A thought provoking display, Mike. Some of those Operational Training Unit aircraft had long and interesting histories, unlike the unfortunate young pilots who finished them off. 53 OTU down here lost 53 pilots between July 41 and April 43. Bent bits of Spitfire bring it home more than shiny ones in the air.
