Garys G-AZSC was indeed painted as a zero as im sure many remember him playing the baddie against the Harvard Formation team and shooting down Pete Treadaway in the Beech but there was also a tora replica at weald around that time

I was crewing C47 N47FK “Fifi Kate” during the filming of Band Of Brothers this shot shows the full size flat pak daks used on the set at North Weald i must say they were impressive mounted on scaffolding as the backdrop

Thought you guys would appreciate the aircrew banter as new members join the Kermit Klub at Duxford sept 2012

we were parked on the hard with the An2 open for viewing,whilst i was surprised that both fire appliances were positioned down near the tower considering that the pleasure flying was being carried out all morning they were then further hampered by SOME morons on the flightline walk who would not get out of the way even with sirens wailing they seemed oblivious to the events going on around them ourselves and the drag em oot Dak crew had to shout/scream at some to “get out the way” as the fire appliance approached.
