thanks if anyone has our 3 ship formation a post would be appreciated
Personally i thought it was a cracking display. At last some sensible variety has been injected into Duxford’s display programme. Right from the 4 x F-15 flyby i thought it was all good. And the Vulcan’s return has been long overdue as well.
Well done everyone at the IWM and to all the display crews involved.
Rob
Thank you makes all the hard work worthwhile now who has pics of our three ship with lS326 and the rapide?
5.40 pm Tiger Moth over Rayleigh Essex
The Vulcan had been displaying at Bournemouth Air festival and then on to Shoreham Airshow. The routing may have been to try and avoid the low cloud base that was covering the South today.
Yes I believe so.
yes it was the Duxford Cat and must say the Vulcans radio transmissions are appallingly weak whatever his altitude that set needs attention
Yes 🙂
And me i remember it in formation with the original plane sailing catalina i think the late John Watts was flying the cat

Easy for me….
Stefan Karwowski + Bearcat.
Saw Stefan’s display at GWAD in 1983. Blew me away.

I’m told that one of the Hawks had to go off and do a flypast today, at a funeral. Can’t get many funerals on a Sunday ?
It was in aid of St Micheals Hospice Basingstoke
No Vulcan…. Rubbish.
