with my aviation connection i am obviously fully supportive of the airport and i live in Eastwood and am under the circuit! many people have stated to me how amazed they are at how quiet the modern aircraft are and some of those have now accepted that the expansion has been well planned and implemented.
There are far more people out there who kep historic aeroplanes flying who are far from millionaires, infact quite the opposite!! Yes you have the likes of Stephen Grey but they are the exception rather than the rule. Many are scrapping what they can from where they can to keep em flying!

Apparently a couple of weeks ago when shown to staff an eagle eyed BA engineer spotted that they had used shots of a Virgin 747 but not changed the reg which was then hastily changed before release!
