Where high wings are to be found, I am told that the BBMF have some fancy suction system that sits on top of the wing and then the personnel can attach themselves to it with a lanyard.
No fancy suction system for me here “Mr bowserman please DONT pull the hose!”

Apologies in advance if anyone gets offended but i do wish that the word “stunt” was not used so much,we had it all over the media reporting the Red 4 tragedy and with Rob and bbd at legends.Imo the only “stunt” act certainly in the uk is Brendan and the trucktop landing.Rant over!
Sounds like the dealer was Ernie Cade the spiv from the 80’s tv series Airline.”you want an An2 i’ve got em Ruskin!”

I have been reliably informed that there are currently 2 Raf schemed Chippies at Popham G-BXDH and G-BCIH the latter shortly on the move to Netheravon.hope this helps.
That’s good to hear, I only caught a very brief glimpse of the tail before the trees alongside the A303 covered it. Do you know which Chipmunk it was / is?
I will endevour to find out and post here.
Did I see an RAF schemed Chipmunk at Popham when I sped past at 70 earlier today?
Yes you did!
She was with us at the Odiham families day and looked and sounded as good as ever.
The Vulcan is way too expensive for them this year quoting 9k+vat per day.Couple that with a lack of sponsors and thats why she is a no show.
I assume Andrew ferried the Dak up from Dunsfold? wishing you all the best for tomorrow and will catch up with you all at the Odiham families day.
Nice shot of our An2 cheers.
