Not exactly a fast mover M083F370. Just one mach decimal up on the A330/340. Slower than a 777 and a 744 by .01 and .02. Hopefully the A350 will be able to match the Boeings for pace.
You had better weather than i did the previous week:cool:

Some more sorry the sun was in and out all day.

It happened to UK airspace when they brought in the current system a number of years ago. The entire airspace was shut down for at least 5 hours and it happened 3 times before it was fixed its not that unusual.
I should’nt worry too much Lucas, this is just a one off technical problem, sort of thing that is fixed quickly. You’ll find DUB is business as usual by the morning and will be fine on tuesday (severe bad luck excepted of course!!)
Its been happening since the start of June it started off when they tried to switch a LAN locally and apparently we were told there was a slight difference in the hardware which cause a conflict and then there was a separate power surge. It result in a computer failure and a fall back to the support computer.
This was evident by a large box appearing on the Radar screen showing the system was in reduced mode.
Basically what is happening is we are being locked out of the computer which handle flight data processing and we lose coupling of the aircraft symbols with there flight plans as a result we only see the Squawk code and cannot tell who it is etc. There is also limit interaction allowed with the system.
It happened today for about an hour. There was a ground stop put on departures and no more aircraft were allowed into the system.

Watch it yourself i think its a joke nothing else.
I think its a dig at the mainline airlines who charge huge fares for very little but that you should expect much much more than you get.
so hardly amazing!
Did i say amazing.
I said i got a cheapy.
I’m trying to help out people who might be interested in a low fare.
During the calculations for the V speeds the length of the runway and the surface conditions are taken into account. Aircraft will not take off from a runway where there is insufficient room to stop.
If in this case the runway is shorter then the difference between v1 and vr would be greater to allow you to stop in the length available so there should have been enough room to stop even up to v1.
So did something drastic happen after v1 that they decided safest to stay on the ground, or was there something else like a miscalculation of weight. Huge loss in power, Burst tyre on braking may cause an overrun.
But its best to wait on the investigation.
I’ll have a stab at they were either making a Film or TV show.
Is that a Jetmagic 135 still not repainted after all this time.
Write a letter of complaint to BA the last time i got a few hundred pounds back ex gratia.
Also take a look at going through Dublin it might be cheaper.
Is that a ‘Dennis’ Hoppa bus perchance
Could be. Guess you will just have to wait and see who is driving it 😉
Use the Hoppa bus from the central area if thats where you fly into. It will take you to the Thistle hotel and then its only a 7-10 minute walk haven’t been in the pub but it sure looks nice.
excellant pictures. Love the heli pictures. Yeah the EC130 is a lovely heli suprised to see none in your pictures as they are the stallworth of the Liberty helis fleet and very comfortable to fly on as well.
