All I can say is – if you have QuickTime, DON’T uninstall it. I installed it on my PC (which runs XP) and I when I tried to uninstall it I got a warning message telling me my computer could be damaged if I uninstalled QuickTime, so I left it where it was.
The message is asking you if you want to remove the system extensions as well as the program files. It recommends that you leave the system files because if you remove them it could cause problems, so if you want to uninstall quicktime you can just don’t click on the remove everything button as this will take out the system extensions too.
