Left to ride it out in the airport or provided with hotels?
Or provided with a liferaft or other floatation device. There’s going to be some serious flooding in Mexico. The Mexico City airport can’t even handle a moderate rain shower as the runway braking goes to “nil” real quick.
Now they added that exits – that is all.
26 people and more range than the previous -900, that’s more than just additional exits.
Looks great!
Wow, they’ve just about pushed the 737 family towards the performance of the 752.
737-900 757-200
Pax: 189-215 200-228
Range: 3200 nm 3900 nm
Their brochure says that this new version of the 737 has 98% commonality with the rest of the 737NG’s. What a great product.
I think the only cases where you’ll see that is with small cabin recip./turboprop twins. There are a few airlines operating C402’s and C414’s but the argument could be made that those aircraft were originally designed for such operations whether they be private or public.
Now that I think of it there is one that I would consider an honest conversion from a private aircraft to airline, the Beechcraft 1300. The 1300 originally was a KingAir 200 but modified with a belly cargo bay.
I remember flying on a DC-10 twice. Once from CLE-ORD on United and another from LGW-EWR on Continental. The United flight was part of an early morning positioning flight that United use to do so there were maybe 50 passengers on board. Everyone had their own aisle. 🙂
I’m pretty sure I’ve been on an L-1011 before but I don’t remember the airline or route. I believe it may have been on Delta from ATL-LGW and Eastern from NYC to Florida somewhere but I was pretty young for both those flights.
Interesting that they don’t have random drug/alcohol testing in Austrailia. Is random testing found in the EU? We have it here but in 5+ years I have only been tested once for drugs and never for alcohol. Actually I wouldn’t mind a few more tests a year as we get extra pay for the test. 🙂
I want to see his pictures. 🙂
Happy Birthday. I can tell you from experience that 18 is great but it only gets better. 🙂
The link isn’t working.
Wannabe, what software do you use for your post-photo taking touch up? Your pictures are really vibrant without looking over done. Again, great work.
Great pictures! Best of luck with the new business.
Why did someone rank this as “Terrible” with 1 Star? Someone’s becoming quite annoying with their continuous 1 Star rankings of just about everything that shows up in this forum.
Getting a ride in a B17, and sitting at the controls, several years ago. This after 60 years ago flying combat in the ETO. in B17s.
Now that must have been quite a homecoming. 🙂
That is one sharp looking DC3. I love the livery!
Back in my flight instructing days I flew this AeroCommander 520:

The owner is a super nice guy. He bought it years ago at a Government auction. It turns out that it use to be used as a drug runner and was eventually taken by the US Government. As a reminder of it’s legacy it has patches from the bullet holes and the co-pilots air vent is still inop. due to being shot out. Very nice touch.
I also have time in a Cessna 175 Skylark which are somewhat rare.
There are at least 2 GA aircraft that I’ve flown that are now scrap due to accidents. I also have time in this EMB-145…..
