I couldn’t get your last link to work so here’s a different one.

Did you take these pictures? I guess I’m missing the point unless you just want to praise the -145 which I can’t blame you for. 😉
Not too often you see a Biz-jet with artwork. I like it. Great pictures BTW.
Great pictures. Thanks for sharing Seilfly. 🙂
You ain’t kidding.
This picture was taken about an hour before on the previous flight. The guy on the jumpseat is a friend from my alma mater who is currently interning at our company. Good times. 🙂
Never knew that! You learn something new everyday.
The BA had 1 flight attendant yesturday 🙂
Someone on the boards had mentioned at one point that some European operators of the ERJ use 2 F/A’s. I wonder why BA opted for a different internal configuration of their ERJ’s.
Hi Bill, yeah the bmi was a 135, and the BA a 145 🙂
Thanks. I remember someone saying that the European ERJ’s are configured differently. From the one picture I can see that they don’t have the forward closet and store their galley carts there similar to how we configure our -135’s. Interesting. So I’m guessing that the BA -145’s have 2 flight attendants?
Great pictures. Is the ERJ in the first 2 pictures of your second lot an EMB-135 or 145?
– When arcing, are you always required to calculate turning points and lead radials yourself or may a computer deal with this?
Our software doesn’t have the capability to slave the autopilot to an FMS arc. Because of that we use the heading mode and rely on DME distance for our turns and corrections. In addition we also then figure out our lead radials/turning points for the approach. Soon we’ll have our software updated so we can fly RNAV approaches which will give us the ability to fly DME arcs.
The reports says the the FO noticed the other airplane after reaching V1 speed which is the rejection decision speed. Above that speed you go but in such extreme situations all bets are off.
Wow, they are very, very, very lucky to say the least.
Great pictures! Any idea what that may be in the window of your MD-11 FedEx picture?
I’d just figure the earth was just rejecting the Shorts. 😀
