I haven’t done any of our LAX flying yet. Hopefully in the future I’ll make it to the other side of the Rockies. 🙂

Could it be the livery used on the bus they filmed the movie ‘Speed’ with?

It’s similar but this version was used through the 1950’s.

14 new jets in 2 years. For the first time in 6+ years CO is growing. Before all new aircraft only offset the retirement of older types (DC-9, DC-10, 732, MD-80). Of course this growth is coming at the same time where CO will experience their largest pilot retirement spike in their history. They are already having staffing issues and it’s only going to get worse. It’s going to be an interesting 2 years.

Love the tail

Subtle but nice additions there Sandy.

It use to be the Santa Monica Municipal Bus Lines and has morphed into the current Big Blue Bus. I don’t know what the current livery looks like but the old one was a white over baby blue. I’m hoping to get a color reference picture from them to help with the coloring. I only have a black and white picture currently.

Ugh, not school bus livery for this one. It’ll be getting 3 different liveries, it’s original Santa Monica livery, it’s Kent State livery and it’s current plain livery.

2 questions.

1. Any hints on drawing with Vectors? I’ve tried a few times and I end up just becoming frustrated with the whole thing and end up using the non-vector line tool.

2. When I export a .jpg out of PS the colors are all different when viewed with any other program. How can I correct the colors within PS so they’ll appear the same when using any other program. (this is true even when I edit digital pictures).

Nope, never even attempted something like this. I’ll mark it up to beginners luck. 😉

I struggled a bit with the drawing part so the whole process could have been better organized on my part. It still needs a few cosmetic details added and some proper shadows but I’m really thrilled with my drawing so far.
