I believe Sky Captain is an original concept. The Rocketeer was based on a 1981 comic.
I saw Sky Captain last night and give it a thumbs up.
I might have shared this here before but here it is again. I took this picture of the Hanoi Taxi about a year ago.
I would say C-130.

I like the tartan line in the first one. Nice touch.
It was an B1900D
I had a scarey moment on board the 1900D
I’ll detail that in my third report.
Ah, Gulfstream Airlines…..I’ll wait until you post your report before I comment. 😮
UPS you mean ?
I guess there isn’t a sarcasm Smilie. 🙂
Not McGuire WD but Stewart ANGB New York 😀

Oops, I errored in my placement of the C-17 unit. 🙂
So you had the unfortunate timing of being in EWR this month during the runway closure. At least the weather was pleasent or it could have been quite a day on the ground in New Jersey. I like you pictures on departure. It looks like you were on the departure for a takeoff from 4L.
Ugh, I’ve had my fill of those sandwich baskets. 🙂
McGuire AFB is the airport you flew over.

Great report, I’m looking forward to the rest. Most likely you few on one of our old 1900D’s to NAS. 🙂
Great report!
I know they aren’t really aviation related but I love those Malta buses. Man, those things are cool.
Wow, the pilots only fly 450 hours a year?
Brown company? Must be FedEx. 😀 😉
“Hey Steve, what does this switch do?”
Thanks for the info TTP. Where will you be based? It sure is a great looking airplane, have fun flying it. 🙂
Wow, those pictures sure bring back some memories. The Rich International and ATA L-1011’s use to be daily visitors here as recently as 5-6 years ago. Now they are all long gone.
