Wow, C-GZIC! Now I’m even more pleased to have seen this at Quebec City last summer. Thanks to a maintenance chap with a stepladder in the box of his truck, I got a few pix of ZIC at Lesage Airport (along with two disassembled Hunters, one of them ex-CWH). Had not heard ZIC was bound for France. Who’s the operator there?

That,s strange. It still had an Avpin starter when I did the last annual servicing!!:rolleyes:

I throught she’d been changed years ago

I know the two hha’s at Bournemouth and 601 are still Avpin but i throught 515 had been changed

I think you will find that XF515 has a full gun pack and barrells.No electric start so full Avpin effects and full blue note!:)

no its got elec start not Avpin

I had a friend who flow Lightning’s in the RAF On one tanking he took more fuel than what a Lightning can carry ie 25,000lbs taken for a jet that carrys 20,000lb of fuel ie he burnt 5,000lb of fuel tanking try that lol
